Great place. Food and service were great. We will be back.

My wife and I visited a couple nights ago while we were traveling in New Brunswick. We ordered the supper special and while it was tasty and well prepared we were somewhat alarmed when we received the bill. It consisted of a fairly small portion of fish and vegetable risotto for a princely $43 a plate. Maybe I'm not the right clientele for this type of place, but did leave feeling like we had not gotten value for our meal.

A great place for friends and soon- to- be friends to gather. We always make this a weekly destination. Food prep is outstanding, staff is super helpful and the music (check the schedule) makes it a place to be for a quick drink or two or to enjoy dinner and an evening. On busier nights, expect to be asked or offer to share your table if it's agreeable to you. We've made many new friends this way. Save room for dessert. Wait time for tables varies...be patient, it's worth it!

Had a quick lunch driving through! We had a nice drink & the food was really good! Very much enjoyed our meal. The mussels were fresh & delicious

Great local music for sure, but charging me $43 for a tiny piece of halibut on a small bed of mediocre risotto and veg is way beyond reasonable. Come on now!

We had a great time over Canada Day at the Red Shoe. Staff were lovely. We met some great people, listened to lots of music and even got to speak some Gaelic

This place is an absolute gem, we could have happily stayed there all night! The seafood chowder was rich and delicious, the banana split and gingerbread were perfect on a cold night. So glad we found this place as we passed through!

Outstanding vibe and food. The sisters go out of their way to make you feel at home. Nightly Irish music is fabulous. The Philly steak sandwich and seafood chowder were excellent.

So much fun, great vibe and we weren't rushed to eat and get out. It made me think how unique this is these days. The food was very good and the servers were friendly and helpful. There is not a thing to improve upon! Thank you for such a good evening!

This place is great! They had dairy and gluten free options, and an accessible entrance on the side. The service was wonderful and there was a show that evening with live music. I was very happy with my meal. The fish was cooked perfectly. Not a cheap meal, but about what you would expect for the quality.

Dietary restrictions: I ate gluten and dairy free fish. Instead of deep frying, they pan fried the fish. The fries had risk of contamination, but are not coated in flour.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a side door that is wheelchair accessible, but it doesn't have a button and is usually locked. You need to call or get someone else to go in to ask them to let you in.
