My wife and I visited a couple nights ago while we were traveling in New Brunswick. We ordered the supper special and while it was tasty and well prepared we were somewhat alarmed when we received the bill. It consisted of a fairly small portion of fish and vegetable risotto for a princely $43 a plate. Maybe I'm not the right clientele for this type of place, but did leave feeling like we had not gotten value for our meal.
A great place for friends and soon- to- be friends to gather. We always make this a weekly destination. Food prep is outstanding, staff is super helpful and the music (check the schedule) makes it a place to be for a quick drink or two or to enjoy dinner and an evening. On busier nights, expect to be asked or offer to share your table if it's agreeable to you. We've made many new friends this way. Save room for dessert. Wait time for tables varies...be patient,...
This place is an absolute gem, we could have happily stayed there all night! The seafood chowder was rich and delicious, the banana split and gingerbread were perfect on a cold night. So glad we found this place as we passed through!
