Great pub, always very welcoming walking in, some of the best wings you'll find in this province ive had many wings from different bars and pubs, Capital pub does it right i think. Try the breaded wings, I mixed the hot and medium sauces together. To all the staff and owner himself. Thanks for making it a great pub. See you all soon again

Let me start by saying the food was OK and our server was fantastic. But that's where it ends.
We were coming in from out of town. We made a reservation there as family was coming from various locations. We decided to stop by the night before and saw a notice they would be closed the day of our reservation.
There was no phone call, no heads up, nothing. The girl working was awesome and got us in touch with the manager. While the manager did apologize, it didn't seem sincere. I felt he didn't value our business and made no effort to even try to rectify the issue. The only thing we were told was we could make a reservation for another night... not what we needed.
We ended up down the Road at Angie's and it was amazing!!! Super friendly, excellent food and a great time. If Im ever in Middleton again, Id stop by Angie's and avoid the Capitol Pub like the clap

Neat little spot for lunch. The kitchen uses toothpicks to hold the burgers burgers and, unfortunately, one of us found a plastic toothpick wrapper inside the sandwich.
The server was apologetic and did comp us the one meal, no questions asked. Otherwise, the food was tasty and the prices on food and drink lunch specials were good.

We have never been disappointed by a meal here! I actually crave the cheesy fries and Country Boy burger. My fiancé always gets the Guinness Steak and Ale pie. Would recommended either. And I appreciate the fact they don't charge extra for GF buns! The only issue we have with this place is that it can get pretty loud of it's busy, but we've just learned to come earlier to avoid the loud crowds.

Ordered wings saked for hot sauce on the side and got home to Honey Garlic instead. No carrot sticks or garnish. Wings were under cooked. Phoned them and he said I could come and get so.e sauce. Which I'm not driving back to Middleton to get some. He said that he would tell them when they get back????
The food was average/typical pub food, and nothing particularly stood out to us. The chicken curry was not the best, so I would recommend focusing on the pub food options to avoid any disappointment. The service was excellent; however, we did experience a considerable wait to settle our bill. There may have been an established process for this, but as it was our first visit, we were not aware of it. Overall it has a nice atmosphere in comparison to the other local pubs, not loud and crowded on this particular Friday night. Looking forward to attending their future events.

Some of the worst food you will find any place. They actully cook their burgers in the microwave and finish on the grill. The kitchen is very dirty. Save your money go to a place the owner actually cares about quality food. In response to the owner you can lie all you want but your burgers are 100 percent cooked in the microwave I worked their for a day to I realized that no one should ever eat anything out of your kitchen . Making staff carry kegs down sketchy stairs It's also not hard to tell by reading all your replies you don't care about customer service just want to be rude to everyone not actully look Into anything but thanks for the great laugh

Figured we’d give this place a try and seen the sign saying 10% off to first responders. So thought if I took the wife here, it would be 10% off the bill. That’s not the case. It’s instead only off one item of the bill. Ordered the steak pie thing with no carrots and ended up having to pick the carrots out of the gravy. Guy in street clothes walked in behind the counter and out the other side after having a conversation with another customer at the bar about roofies. No idea if he worked there or not. The waitress I talked to said he was the cook and said she didn’t contribute to that conversation because they were only joking. Couldn’t help with my complaint about my order being wrong. after stating my dissatisfaction,while walking away, she says “don’t came back then”. Very unpleasant experience overall.
Trying to respond to the capital but can’t find the option here. My first complaint was at the table when the waitress came by and I mentioned that I had to pick the carrots out of my meal that I ordered without them. I asked if there was anything she could do and she went to get ahold of the “boss” or manager. Came back and said there was nothing they could do. As I told the waitress, the discount was not my concern and and I’d pay the amount but was unsatisfied with the no help part about the meal being wrong and also about the discussion of drugs going on while I was eating. She was the rude one by staying don’t come back after I paid and she was walking away. Please message me on facebook if you would like to discuss further.
