Service was terrible. Waitress may have been new to the job. Food was still great. We go to the Capitol Pub all the time. Owner is great. Just had a bad experience the other night. Did not complain to anyone & we still tipped her. Hope our next visit we be better.

Great pub, always very welcoming walking in, some of the best wings you'll find in this province ive had many wings from different bars and pubs, Capital pub does it right i think. Try the breaded wings, I mixed the hot and medium sauces together. To all the staff and owner himself. Thanks for making it a great pub. See you all soon again

Let me start by saying the food was OK and our server was fantastic. But that's where it ends.
We were coming in from out of town. We made a reservation there as family was coming from various locations. We decided to stop by the night before and saw a notice they would be closed the day of our reservation.
There was no phone call, no heads up, nothing. The girl working was awesome and got us in touch with the manager. While the manager did apologize, it didn't seem sincere. I felt he didn't value our business and made no effort to even try to rectify the issue. The only thing we were told was we could make a reservation for another night... not what we needed.
We ended up down the Road at Angie's and it was amazing!!! Super friendly, excellent food and a great time. If Im ever in Middleton again, Id stop by Angie's and avoid the Capitol Pub like the clap

Neat little spot for lunch. The kitchen uses toothpicks to hold the burgers burgers and, unfortunately, one of us found a plastic toothpick wrapper inside the sandwich.
The server was apologetic and did comp us the one meal, no questions asked. Otherwise, the food was tasty and the prices on food and drink lunch specials were good.

We have never been disappointed by a meal here! I actually crave the cheesy fries and Country Boy burger. My fiancé always gets the Guinness Steak and Ale pie. Would recommended either. And I appreciate the fact they don't charge extra for GF buns! The only issue we have with this place is that it can get pretty loud of it's busy, but we've just learned to come earlier to avoid the loud crowds.

Ordered wings saked for hot sauce on the side and got home to Honey Garlic instead. No carrot sticks or garnish. Wings were under cooked. Phoned them and he said I could come and get so.e sauce. Which I'm not driving back to Middleton to get some. He said that he would tell them when they get back????
