We went there before the last day into winter season. The food was great! The receptionist was so friendly. Mamma’s food was delicious! Highly recommend!

My son and I stopped in today for a bite to eat - I think it was the highlight of our Canadian trip!! The food was fantastic, but it was really Mama and her hospitality that made the visit so memorable! She is a wonderful lady and a great cook. I hope I am up this way again!

I'm visiting from the US and Big Mamma's restaurant is the coolest thing I've seen on this trip! The food was amazing, the atmosphere is cute and friendly, and the service is unrivalled! In fact, it feels like being taken care of by family. You should definitely check out Big Mamma's!

We stopped here for some lunch on our way to CB and had the best fish and chips in NS! Big mama was so welcoming, and everything was perfectly fried and crispy!

Friendly service a delicious food. Stopped here on my way home. Their food did not disappoint.

A little hidden gem that we found randomly. The food and service was absolutely wonderful. We met Big Mamma and was told it was their last day as they're closing. Bittersweet as we were glad to have tried it before they closed.The portions are huge. I shared the regular donair with my mom and we were stuffed. The sauce it comes with is a bit sweet but you have the option to have it on the side if you'd like.My fiancé got the fish and chips and the fish was huge and worth the value.We also got the Big Mama burger, it looked small but the burger patty was a hefty size.I also got the daily special of oxtail and was given a good portion of oxtail and it was fall of the bone. So good

We found this amazing restaurant during our trip and it was soooooo good! The fish and chips was incredible, and my husband loved the burger. It was really amazing and, honestly, I would do the 14h drive to go eat that fish Again!The two ladies that we met were super friendly and we talked a while with them.Awsome restaurant, awesome staff and cook and awesome food!

Had the most amazing experience here! We pulled up at about 11:45 am because google said they were open, they weren’t supposed to open until 12 but the wonderful lady working there saw us outside and invited us in, we each had a burger platter, 2 of them were ready in about 15 minutes. Fries were hot, burger was perfect! We will most definitely be back ❤️

Everything was delicious. We met Big Mama and she was delightful to speak with. A must visit if you are in the area.

Best fish & chips ever! Moist, flakey and fresh. Top it off with one of Mama’s homemade pies and it is pure heaven. We went for coconut cream!
