This year....disappointed in the loss of size this year , especially with the raise in prices.. $2 more for half the food. Requests for extra coleslaw and tarter were ignored also. This place I've recommended for YEARS.. unfortunately, not the same place it was.. will not be able to recommend with pride anymore.

This place has the best, most delicious fresh fish! It is a must stop when passing through.
Not so rave worthy in my opinion. Had many people suggest I stop here for dinner while I was in the area, so I took the recommendation. I've ordered Fish & Chips at many locations and honestly this isn't even one of the better that I had. It's decent, but not something to call home about. I ended up paying $40 for a pint, and ONE piece fish & chips made into a poutine. Price was ridiculous but figured it would make up for the taste. Nope. Service staff were far from friendly. Won't be back, and will not recommend.

Hours of business not accurate. Closed on a Sunday in Aug with no communication on their social media pages or Google. Very disappointing to drive a distance expecting them to be open. I recommend calling ahead before making the trip out.
The food taste good, however the portion of fries they give is pittyful.
It is like the staff have to pay for the fries out of there own paychecks or something. I ordered fish AND chips , not fish and a few chips.

Simply the best. One of mum’s favourites. I will always stop at Harbour Fish ‘N’ Fries when I visit the east coast. Thank you for always be one of the best stops of Nova Scotia.
