Could not believe a simple bowl of chowder.was over $20. Little to no service at the table, no water brought with our meal and you basically had to go fishing for any seafood. Biscuit was mediocre at best. 2 chowderwith tax was over $46 which is absurd for what we received. Do t waste your time here go to the Rusty Anchor where you can get much better chowder for $6 less a bowl , actual east coast service and a fish burger that is planry for 2 for aviation $6 more than what we paid here.

We rolled in here mid-road trip with salty hair and big appetites. Follow the signs, then hang a left at the lighthouse (worth stopping for pics).
Inside or outside seating gives you the full vibe. I went full feast mode with the lobster dinner (9/10, buttery perfection). Potato salad? Solid wingman. The onion rings though… crispy golden halos of joy 10/10.
Partner’s chowder came in at a 6/10 (a little grainy, like it got lost at sea).
Staff were warm and friendly, and you clear your own dishes self-serve style. A must-stop for lobster lovers. 🦞✨ (one butter cup shared, none left behind 🐻).

Called in a last minute order before closing (fryers shut off at 5:45pm). Was greeted with a smile and my order. Ate outside, the chowder and lobster club was amazing, just like the view.

The seafood chowder and fish and chips here were deeeelish! Big chunks of seafood in the chowder and a generous portion at that. The fish and chips were fresh and tasty with an abundance of fresh cut (not frozen) fries! Staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend this place! 😋

Great location but a tad tourist “trappy” when it came to food. Lobster roll for $30 was more mayo than lobster. Three of this plus a chowder to share and our party of three spent $135 including tip. For amazing lobster maybe (even then expensive) but for just ok wouldn’t recommend.

Great seafood restaurant and potential picnic spot here. Scenery here is great, the restaurant overlooks the water and a fishing port where they are hauling in their catch for the day. Food was phenomenal. I had the lobster sandwich, great portion and delicious with light mayo and toasted bread with the sandwich. Fries are solid, nothing to be blown away by but acceptable. Others in my group had the chowder and all loved that as well.
Definitely worth a stop along the Cabot trail for sure.

Gorgeous place and the view is unbeatable, seating area inside a bit cramped but outside, if you don't mind the wind, you got a bunch of picnic tables. Takes a little while to get your food but it is definitely worth the wait.
