Great service, absolutely the best wings I've had in a long time. Will definitely go again.
Such good food. Hand cut fries. Everything homemade. Quick and tasty
got the smokehouse burger with a poutine and it was delicious. had a great server as well. loved the atmosphere and deff will be back.
Avoid. Total dive bar. Sub par food and it felt like we were inconviencing the waitress by being there. The place was falling apart just like the burger that was soaked in BBQ sauce.
Megan waited on us and she was delightful. Loved the food too. We will be returning soon. Thanks so much!
Great food, great servers!! Love wing nite!!
Thier cob/ spinach salad is the best!!!
Great service, great food and fair pricing.
This was the second time I have eaten here and I haven't been disappointed yet.
We had a great meal at The Thistle. Wings are great. My husband and buddy loved the large beers. Fish tacos are good. Hand cut fries are the best. We will return.
Absolutely amazing beer prices, especially for a thing called a B.A.M! It's like 3 beer in a massive glass and is a great time for about 10.50$. Food prices are the best per value in all of New Glasgow, and the servers are equally the best ones in New Glasgow. Highly recommended spot for all your restaurant and drinking needs. P.S a great patio too.
Patio has a great vibe!! Nice big tables if you have a group. Fries are delicious, prices are reasonable and the portions are great.
Great covered dog friendly area. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. They even have beers for dogs. Highly appreciated the special per treatment.
Stopped here for lunch on a weekday and it was the saltiest bar food I ever had. The entire plate of fries was inedible. All were either overcooked or undercooked and had an insane level of salt. Some of the ingredients like tomato and lettuce were not fresh. Very disappointed.
Stopped in here along the way home from Halifax with my wife.
It was a Sunday. As soon as we walked in, we were told to get a spot, no problem. We sat down and waited 15 minutes to get a drink and then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes to get our food ordered. We were told they didn't have what my wife wanted, waited another 15 minutes for the waiter to come back. During this time, 2 other couples came in, sat down and got no service, and eventually just left.
At this point, I wanted to leave, but decided to stick it out just due to the time we already spent inside and we had a drink & at this point, it's been an hour inside, still waiting for food.
I will say, the patio had a couple groups of people outside, and it seemed all attention was going towards it, and it seemed very short staffed. 3 servers, and only 1 was barely paying mind to us.
We finally got our food after an hour and some, quickly ate and spent another 10 just trying to get somebody's attention to give us the bill.
Originally, I went here because my wife was saying something about some sort of fun eating challenges, but they're gone.
I honestly hate to leave a review like this, but wow, it took us 10 minutes to eat and over an hour to even get the food.
Maybe it was just an off day, Sunday. I get it - but wow.
The food was decent, and the service was not so much.

5 stars all around, great burger, exceptional IPA beer "Maggie" by Fine Company and to be honest the real reason I come here, great attentive service from Daniel.
