I was double billed for an order and tried to work with the diner on a refund, I get it mistakes happen. They admitted the error and assured me it would get fixed. For 4 months I tried to work with them but I was given a run around that they were going to e-transfer me to money and speak with their accountant to reverse the double charge, etc. Sadly, no refund has been received and I’m out almost $120 and they won’t answer calls/texts about the issue. Disappointing to say the least especially from a local business. Will not be back and do not recommend, save your money.

I just had a pizza, it was absolutely wonderful! 😋 I'm very picky about pizza, not a fan of it normally, but this pizza was great! the food is just getting better and better if that's possible. Great staff, great prices, great food! What more can you ask for?

I have eaten here before and really enjoyed it. The owners mother was there and was a delight! The club house was wonderful and service was fun and prompt. It is important to know this as I hope today’s visit was a one off. Went in today around 1pm. A friendly waitress waiting on a table and engaged in order taking. No issue. But there were 3 people in the back (not including cook) talking. They would look out occasionally, did not say a word to us. Just kept chatting. Maybe they were not working, but if so, stay out of customer eye shot. We waited 7 mins (had dogs in the car) with no one acknowledging us as we stood at the cash.
I hope the next visit is like our first one. A little wave and, “we’ll be right with you,” goes a long way.

Donair subs, great flavour . Mine was full. Only suggestions, cut the subs in half nd tomato pieces instead of slices. Otherwise yummy!!

Special spot in New Ross Nova Scotia KATIE did awesome on her 1st day. Chocolate shake was perfect. The Irish skins fantastic!! Definitely will go back. Thank you all. Chef owner great meal. Monty couldn't finish his meal.Hard to believe!!! Lol

Unfortunately, there are not a ton of options in the area so one doesn’t have much other choice, especially for dinner. The staff were fairly friendly, though a bit brusque at first. The food was 100% standard diner fare, with no real options for anything healthy, which was a bummer. The cheeseburger was fine and the crinkle fries were better than most places, so I took it as a win. Our food was prepared very quickly and sitting on the patio in the evening was pleasant. The little pavilion in the park next door is a nice place to sit and watch the cars drive by.

Ate here last night with my sisters and mother! 3 of us got club houses and one hot turkey, and it’s by far the best club house I have had in years! I mean we did wait a bit for our food, but understandable with only having a small toaster. But amazing service and can’t wait to come back there again!
This place is not fancy but that is the entire appeal of it.
If you want good food this is it. It's a small menu but the food is delicious. Large portions for low low prices.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The bathroom was well stocked and clean.
This is clearly a local favorite and for a very good reason.
I don't think you could find a better deal anywhere near New Ross.

Atmosphere and customer service are extremely lacking here, especially in a small country diner... Cheerful, polite workers would go a long way!
No music, not a picture on the wall, no friendly banter from staff, or anything to consider atmosphere in the small intimate space with very little privacy to talk or eat.. If you just want to hear the sounds of a diner kitchen and order's being taken a few feet away, then this is the place for you.
It's not the place for a cup of coffee and chill.
On my final visit, they forgot the gravy for the 2 small scoops of mashed potatoes. Of course, i did not realize til i was home... Waste of potatoes and my money while I was left hungry and upset at the 20 bucks I just blew on two pieces of bread, and a small bit of gravy over a small amount of turkey.
The best thing I can say is that they had the food prepared on time.
I won't be back until I hear things have vastly improved. They shouldn't expect repeat business charging those prices relative to the small food portions and lack of care overall

I bought a large pizza with extra cheese. It's Sunday evening and I took a chance that they would be open. They sure were. Pizza was fantastic,pick up time was faster than they said and the restaurant was really busy. I will definitely be going again for my #1 pizza place as it was absolutely delicious and priced perfectly. This was my first time there and definitely won't be the last. Now what shall we try tomorrow night?
