Last night was absolutely amazing! The bar staff were incredibly friendly and gave us great local tips. The owner even took the time to personally greet us. The music was so good - this hot local talent definitely needs to be discovered!

Nice little bar near the water in North Sydney. Lots of seating options from a quiet table in a wee room to regular bar and table seating, and a room with comfy leather couches. Great beer, full bar. Only a few appetizers, but the spicy Thai Chicken wings hit the spot! Great place to hang when you are waiting to take the ferry . Nice outside garden where you can sit with your dog or cozy dark pub interior.
This is really the only bar on the northside and surrounding areas worth spending any time in. Enjoyed it and can't wait to stop in again.

Cozy spot in the basement of an old bank. A couple small little alcoves in former vaults. Great beer selections and tasty food, very friendly staff. Super close to Newfoundland Ferry and a great spot to hang out for drinks and snacks pre trip...
