Nice little bar near the water in North Sydney. Lots of seating options from a quiet table in a wee room to regular bar and table seating, and a room with comfy leather couches. Great beer, full bar. Only a few appetizers, but the spicy Thai Chicken wings hit the spot! Great place to hang when you are waiting to take the ferry . Nice outside garden where you can sit with your dog or cozy dark pub interior.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and handicap door.

This place is the best bar I've ever been to. The character is incredible, the atmosphere is unrivaled, and the owner is a beauty. He's got a couple great craft beers on tap, very reasonable prices, and delicious food. By the way, this place still exists, Google should remove the 1 star reviews because they are misinformed, it's around back in the basement (it's the CELLAR bar...). It's got private rooms that used to be bank vaults, a quaint patio, and great local live music at least once a week. North Sydney is lucky to have such a diamond of an establishment. Enjoy a seat in the garden or explore the eclectic mix of history and Irish music with sparkling lighting and small private rooms. A plus is wheelchair accessibility.
