The fries were stale. Like they had been sitting under a warmer for hours. I was catching the ferry and had driven long hours, coming off the road; if I wasn't so tired I would have taken them back. Very disappointing.

I have eaten, at one time or another, at every single fast food restaurant in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and my visit to the North Sydney Wendy's is the only time that I've ever gotten hot food. Very friendly staff, and as I was waiting for my order the worker that was putting it on the tray said "Whoah, this is supposed to be takeout!" He spilled a few fries transferring the food to the bag and without my asking, immediately went over to the fryer...
