My husband and I were travelling home from Halifax and decided to take a side trip to Parrsboro and noticed this little restaurant. Not big but very attractive with linens on the tables and local pictures on the wall. I ordered a senior omelette and was blown away by the flavour and appearance plus the delicious jam that didn't come from a rack of the same old offerings. Also my cup of coffee was never empty from the efficient server. Husband was impressed also with his standard breakfast. A great find!

Food wasn’t good. Had fish & chips. The chips were clear coat, maybe frozen? And fish was too tough to cut in the middle, maybe undercooked? Seems like many good reviews are from the last ownership. Wouldn’t return.

A group of 18 of us visited this restaurant on Aug 17th and we were all shocked at how terrible the food was. Very basic things like mashed potatoes and frozen peas that were not edible at all. We had a variety of things from the menu and all was bad. Avoid this place while visiting Parsborro.

Asked for a hamburger also asked if fries were included and was told yes, fries were included. They were an extra five dollars each. Charged for the wrong hamburger, food was good justmore than expected. Meals for a family out can be expensive so I always try to find out what I’m getting for my dollar in this case I was told something different and the waitress even acknowledged it but no change.

Very limited options for vegetarians. The one option chickpea patties came with dip, nothing else. They were dry and tasteless. When mentioning it to waitress, we received no reply.

Vegetarian options: Very limited and no varying from existing menu.

It’s sad to see this place decline after the previous owners sold. Change the name. It’s not the same restaurant anymore.

The food was not good. Two couples dined and all meals were poorly prepared. Scallops were small bay scallops and over cooked. Side vegetables were frozen green beans and cauliflower and nuked resulting in rubbery vegetables. The waitress was upset that she had to split the bill two ways. Do not dine at this restaurant.

Very disappointing meal. It was something a 10 year old could have made. The scollops were overcooked and not fresh and the fish was not fresh either. Both meals were served with a small bowl of frozen mixed vegetables you get from the supermarket, a very small coleslaw that you could eat in 3 mouthfuls and two scoops of very ordinary mashed potatoes. We also asked for 1 beer and 2 waters and we got no water and 2 beers.

Worst meal in years, fish tacos were worst I’ve ever had and we waited 45 minutes to get it.
