I absolutely love this spot. It was the final piece that shaped my decision that I need to leave the city and move to Parrsboro.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.Parking: There is a huge dirt parking lot, so parking has never been an issue.Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for accessible entry.

So glad they had a yummy vegetarian chowder the day we visited! It was not always easy finding good vegetarian meals during our three week trip around Nova Scotia.

Wonderful dinner tonight, with a beautiful beach view. Our server, Timmie,, suggested if we ordered the seafood platter, it was enough for both of us, as it also included a lobster roll. It was really good. To top off the meal, we had a local beer from Two islands Brewing - the Sailor’s Delight Irish Red - excellent. A table near us heard me debating about having pie for dessert. They said, “Do it. Order the coconut cream pie.” Another table echoed their suggestion. It was the BEST homemade coconut cream pie we ever had!!! Timmie was phenomenal, too.

Food was OK , Soggy fish, Server messed up one persons order but quickly solved it so they didn't have a long wait. The house flies could be controled a little better though , it would make it easier to eat instead of brushing away the 2 flies that wanted to hang out at our table.

first time tried lobster sandwich here an hour ago now feel absolutely sick, i believe it was not fresh. 70 $ meal turned to be a disaster. be careful.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and efficient. We arrived early - 1030 am and were afraid we couldn't order off of the lunch menu. They had NO problem giving us all the menu options!! Prices were very reasonable! We ordered onion rings, wings, 1 pc fish n chips and the lobster mac n cheese. Soooooooo good! Hubby said it was the best fish he's ever had! So fresh. Onion rings were classic crisp and not greasy at all. Wings were classic and done well. Not greasy. The lobster Mac n cheese was yummy! I think I'd ask for light breadcrumb on top next time but it was creamy, cheesy and a good amount of lobster! It was a lovely drive from Dartmouth to Parrsboro. We will totally be back!!!

I had the scallops and fries and I can't stop thinking about how good the scallops were! I've eaten a lot of scallops (my dad used to fish scallops!), and I've tried scallops all across Nova Scotia. Harbour View now has my vote for best pan fried scallops! My husband had the Five Island clams and they were also very good. We'll be back! :)

Food was pretty good, but we couldn't get in to eat - the dining room was full. The wait time was unbelievably long - about an hour for our order. It was a busy weekend in the area though, so I hope to try again on a less busy day. The views around are beautiful.

This was a fun place to go. Take a little walk on the pebble beach and then go in for dinner. Our server was delightful--she was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. I had fried clams and fish & chips combo. All very tasty. Mainly fried food here, I think. But it was a friendly and welcoming place --locals and tourists alike. I would definitely return if in the area.
