We found a gem! Stopped here after walking past a few crowded eateries with no place to sit at Peggy’s Cove. It was shortly after opening & we had our pick of patio or indoor seating. We chose to stay in the air conditioning & sat upstairs for the great view. We ordered the Chicken Karaage & Lobster Dumpling Consommé and they were amazing. The chicken was tender & flavorful; perfectly crisp without being overdone or oily. And the 2 sauces were both delicious. The consommé was simple & elegant with lots of flavor. This is not a place that’s banging out standard meals for the masses. The food is prepared with care & skill & if you get there early it’s a peaceful breather from the Lighthouse crowds. We highly recommend!

We found this place after our visit to Peggy’s Cove. We had absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. Janice gave the most warming welcome. And the food was hands down the best. The lobster Mac n cheese was yummilicious , the Haddock fish n fires - one of the best in the town, it was crispy. The Cluck Cluck Sandwich was fresh and perfect. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every plate. Arianna, she was very friendly, attentive and patient and also did give us some amazing recommendations on beaches to visit.
If you’re looking for amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere, and top-notch service, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely Incredible Dine-In Experience!

From the moment we walked in, everything about our visit was just perfect. The food was out of this world—you could truly taste the love and care put into every bite. Arianna, our server, was an absolute gem. She was so pleasant, thorough, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our meal, making sure we were well taken care of. It’s seldom these days that we see such dedication to one’s job.

One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, who was also the chef that day. She came out to chat with us, shared her inspiring story, and even gave us some awesome tips for other places to visit in the area. It added such a personal and heartwarming touch to our experience.

As for the food—where do I even begin? The kids devoured the mac and cheese (and honestly, the adults might have loved it even more!). The sandwich, the burger, and the fish and chips were all absolutely mouthwatering—perfectly cooked, seasoned, and presented. Every dish was a hit.

If we’re ever in the area again, there is no question—we’re coming back. We’d 100% recommend this gem of a place to anyone looking for a meal that’s not just delicious but memorable. Bravo to the whole team.

Best food in Peggys cove!
For us 8 people, Janice and Ariana were very welcoming with us exploring the unique town of Peggy’s Cove. We came in hungry and were served with fresh, tasty meals! We loved the fish and chips, Mac and Cheese and burger, we got in love with it that we might not want to try it anywhere else. The burger with the bacon jam was delicious and had a unique taste that you would never expect. The food was straight out the oven and served fresh, with the honey mustard being our favorite dipping sauce. The overall experience was awesome as we got to interact with the one and only chef, Janice, and our server Ariana.

Great spot with an amazing ocean view and cozy ambience. The vegetarian dishes, especially the “Hodge Podge,” were flavorful and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend sitting on the patio for a perfect dining experience!

Took 20 minutes to scoop 1 ice cream for kids. Bistro is 19+ only, so only outdoor seating if with kids. Staff in shop were not friendly. Shop is about half overpriced bags of candy, and half overpriced jars of jam. Cant speak to the bistro, as it is 19+ only.

Beautiful views ! Food was delicious! We ate upstairs stunning views ! Also there is a retail store attached! Lots of goodies inside lots of souvenirs, different flavours of fudge, candy, pop, too numerous to mention!
