What a delight. At the entrance to Peggy’s cove, an unassuming upstairs restaurant that served us the best halibut fish and chips I’ve had in my life— and that’s saying something because I’ve eaten halibut all through Alaska. This fish was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, as were the chips. The proprietor, also our server, was gracious and efficient. The restaurant was sparsely decorated but spotless and airy. I can’t say enough good things about this unexpected treasure.

The Bistro menu and food are fabulous. We enjoyed orders of chicken and waffles plus lobster macaroni and cheese, and both were beautifully presented and delicious. This is an exceptional restaurant experience, with great service and quality.

A recently renovated building and new restaurant to Peggys Cove. A bright interior with views of Peggy’s cove from the upstairs. I had the Lobster Mac, accompanied with a green salad. The Mac was a perfect blend of ingredients, salad greens were fresh. My husband ordered the generous Halibut fish & chips, and liked it very much. Should be your first choice when visiting Peggy’s Cove.

We went here for the first time on the 4th...would have been better to never go! 2 Stars on the service only because the one cook who "finally" came to the window, was very friendly. Otherwise we waited 1 half hour to get the most mediocre donair fries I have ever seen (shredded tiny bit of donair meat). Very small pieces of fish. Fish and fries both looked like they were fresh out of a bag! They have ONE picnic table outside and no one under 19 allowed in the bistro/inside dining! I knocked on the window and then had to go back inside to get the drinks I ordered. I almost became upset when I saw a family of four (2 children and 2 adults) called up to the window before us who came well after we did; until I saw that they ordered 3 ice creams and one donair fries (I think their wait was about 20 minutes for said ice cream)!
