This is an iconic Peggy’s Cove tourist spot!
While I think there’s better Lobster rolls available, this place has been serving for decades. In a prime location right by Peggy’s Cove - this is a must try.
I personally am a fan of warm lobster rolls available (throw some butter on it) & youre in for a great meal!
PS: they can be pricey ($30+) on some days but that’s the local/fresh price

Love ❤️ Tom’s lobster shack ! I worked at the lighthouse as a security guard on the black rock to keep people safe ! I was always asked where the best lobster rolls were and I had to try Tom’s and I was amazed at the quality of their lobster rolls so I would always recommend them !
The lobster rolls were a highlight of our trip. Fresh and tasty.
One of the best lobster rolls I’ve had. I had the classic and my partner tried the Cajun. Both were lovely and fresh with huge pieces of lobster. Definitely worth what you pay and it comes with chips and pickles. PRO TIP eat on their patio or in your car… the seagulls are very aggressive and one actually snatched the lobster roll right out of my hands on the muskoka chairs closer to the lighthouse…. Mildly terrifying LOL The staff were so nice and friendly and gave me a new one since I was only 2 bites in. Other than that… 10/10!

Friendly service Cajun and classic lobster rolls come with chips. Tried the mango lemonade which was good. The star of the show is the lobster roll for sure! Comes on a warm toasted bun heaped full on a bed of kettle chips with a few slices of pickle.
Two lobster rolls with mango lemonade came to $86.

We had a lobster roll which was one of the best we’ve ever had. We also had hot dogs and fries and the dogs were fantastic! Sun was shining so lunch on a picnic table in mid October was a real treat!

The best lobster roll I’ve had! It’s not even close! I tried the Cajun one, and the amount of lobster it had inside was very surprising. They definitely didn’t cheap out. The price is a little high but honestly it was fresh, soft, and delicious.
If you’re there you have to absolutely try it.

Got the classic one as I haven't had a lobster sandwich before, it was pretty good, but quite expensive for what's basically a hot dog roll, couple of pickle slices, handful of chips and soda.

On a 30 minute excursion we first took tons of photos of the lighthouse and our tour guide recommended Tom's if we could make time for it. We raced across the street with only 15 mins left, but the staff were very helpful and even made by roll gluten free by making it into a bowl. The lobster served was huge and we stood by our bus and scarfed it down, we both ordered the classic roll, made different than we are accustomed to but so much better!!! This is a must do stop!
Dietary restrictions: Just ask for no bread if you're gluten free!

BEST LOBSTER ROLL I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Your Lobster is so much nice than the Lobster we have here in Australia. ABSOLUTELY MOUTHWATERING AMAZING. I have tried different Lobster all around Canada on our travels this year, even did a Lobster bake. But yours is the best, just wish you were closer to Australia so I could have another one 😊 Delicious, I hope I can have another one, one day 🤞
Phenomenal lobster rolls! My husband and I tried both the Classic and the Naked Lobster Rolls and I have to say the Naked is the way to go. I feel you get to really appreciate the lobster this way and not have it competing against the mayonnaise. Although I will say both were very good, trust me and get the Naked! The price is a bit steep, however they really hook you up with a good portion of lobster! The lobster is also brought in fresh daily and it shows! There is no fishy smell or taste, just pure goodness! Overall, totally worth the hype and few extra bucks!
We didn’t try the ice cream, as it was super windy and chilly out, but it looked yummy as well.
Good lobster. Seemed fresh. Nice spot in kinda a tourist trap area. I recommend the naked lobster roll.

The best of the best and you can forget about the rest.
During my time in Nova Scotia I had several lobster rolls but Tom's lobster Shack was a stand out. It was a thick boy.
