My spouse and I are here on one of our many trips to Pictou. I have family in Pictou all summer so we visit often. We each found the food bland, and over priced for what it is. We eat at many restaurants, and have no problem spending this much, or much more if the food is good, but this was not the case. I felt I could have cooked the same food much better at home, and for about 1/5 of the price.

Difficult to rate today. They are still recovering from the hurricane so only had a limited menu and had to close early due to related issues. Had the best fish of the trip so far here. Newer establishment with live music when we were here. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

First time, food was great but service not so much. Second time, food not as good but wonderful service. Don't love the loud music on Saturday but that's personal preference. Fish and chips and onion rings are consistently well prepared.
Humble on the outside, sophisticated on the inside and the food is fresh and flavourful.
