Please consider a hygiene inspection for this location - 3 times consecutively at this location I have stopped for a coffee and a mcmuffin whilst traveling to visit family, only to vomit almost exactly 3 minutes after my first sip of coffee.
The first time I thought it must be me, the second time I started seeing a trend, today was the third time the food here has made me throw up with the exact same symptom/experience over the course of three visits over two years (stomach turns to knots, immediately have to vomit).
While I have absolute sympathy for the employees that offer great service at this location (ALWAYS polite and friendly here), the quality of the product has never been great. The coffee in particular always tastes old and acidic which I shouldn't be able to tell at all considering I take a triple triple.
Without being a professional in the industry, my only conclusion is that the kitchen itself/the machines are not being cleaned properly. The only other time in my life I've had similar symptoms is a 3 year old keurig that had mold in the permanent filter.
At the very least, please consider this review for the sake of public safety. McDonalds is a frequent stop as I travel the maritimes, out of the 4 locations I routinely stop during this particular trip, this is the only one my stomach has had issues with.

I visited the McDonald's in port hawksburg, Oxford Nova scotiask for a burger with no ketcout of the tool that I ordered one head. No, catch up the other was smothered in it.

Standard McDonalds fare. All food was good. The restaurant was clean, clearly well run. We were served by Prerna who was exceptional in all respects, great welcome, great smile, a great representative. She was worthy of a big pat on the back.

Nothing extraordinary, typical McDonalds experience. Staff are run off their feet, drive thru attendants are for the most part pleasant, but all in all i think the major downfall here is customer satisfaction.
Parking: There has been some construction going on for a while now right next to the drive thru entrance which does impede on traffic going into the drive thru and traffic who are trying to find dine in parking.

I will say first off that I am not a fan of fast food. Secondly, Of all the fast food restaurants.Mcdonald's is probably my least favorite.
I was in an extreme rush and needed to eat in less than fifteen minutes. This. McDonald's was the only option.
I got a mcmuffin with sausage and eggs and it was okay.

Sadly it wasn't the best visit. My husband and I were on a road trip so needed a quick stop. Our food took forever & there were several mistakes. It seemed busy and chaotic behind the counter as well where people were waiting. Hope it gets sorted.
