First time there..last time there..the fries were very soggy and the clams were also very soggy and greasy and batter fell off when you picked them up..when I told the lady at counter there was no sorry or anything..she said we can cook you another order I told her no thank you as my friend was half way done her meal so just asked for a refund..she was not pleased and threw $20 on the counter..I was standing there waiting for the rest of the money she said anything else..yes the rest of my money..I paid almost $28 for my order..she threw the rest of the money on the counter and walked away..she was very rude..terrible experience

Well I went to Nelly's today with my mum and we had the fish and chips. The fish was really good, but the fries were not all that good. They looked like they were old and just reheated. The coleslaw was good. Overall I would go back if I was to get fresh fries next time.

Been twice and really enjoyed the food and music. We like sitting outside at the picnic tables. We visited late and the icecream stand closed just when we were ready for cones ? really good chicken sandwich fish and chips and pan fried haddock.

We love Nelly's! Everything on the menu is amazing! It is usually a toss up between fresh fried clams, the awesome "Nelly's Burger" or lobster roll! This trip I got a Nelly's Burger. It's rare for me to get a cheeseburger when dining out, especially when there is seafood, but the Nelly's Burger rocks it out! I had the delicious Nelly's Burger while my wife had the Lobster Roll... The lobster roll was chuck FULL of delicious lobster on a nicely toasted bun! The perfect summer time meal! 100% satisfied with our meal and then the new dairy bar outside served us some creamy soft serve hot fudge sundaes! HOME RUN! Sad we forgot to take pics. Thanks Nelly's! See you soon!

LONG WAIT TIMES, RUDE/POORLY TRAINED STAFF My wife and I stopped in for a bite the other day, as we often do, as we live in the area year round. It was around 5pm and they were pretty busy. We sat at a dirty table, which the waitress never wiped off. There were two customers at the counter ahead of us, yet the waitress served more than ten people before returning to take our order( over 20 minutes later). The food took another 20-25 minutes to arrive, almost 45 minutes from seating to eating. After paying our bill( not looking for a freebie) I mentioned to the white haired man behind the counter we had never had to wait so long before. He responds “Really?” I say I felt almost 45 minutes to get our food was a long wait. Rather than saying sorry, but(insert excuse) , he rudely replied “ ya think so?” Although the food was good, the man was so rude it is unlikely we will ever return.
What can I say about this place except you must stop in and eat their food. Everything on the menu looks deliciously well prepared. I ordered fish n chips while my friend got lobster roll. Prices are awesome. Food was delicious. I stopped in again the next day to try their pizza. Awesome. Highly recommended.
Parking: It's a busy place let me tell you. Lots of places to park but fills up quickly.
