The food was pretty good for a road side food hut. I will go back to try something else on the menu. The locals said there burgers are really good. Only draw back it is a cash only.

I eat fish and chips weekly at different places along with my brother. And I must say the fish and chips here are just okay. All haddock is similar but it's the batter that makes it, and the batter here is just so so. Difficult to cut through it with plastic knives turning it into mush basically. Harbour fish n fries in mosquidobit is better. The prices are tad expensive at Gazoos also. $7 for a piece of fish is overpriced seeing that this is Nova Scotia where we're surrounded by ocean and haddock. A piece of fish should cost no more than $5. Another negative thing about Gazoos is that they accept cash only. Most people nowadays don't carry cash on them, they use debit.

Came out because we heard the fried clams were to die for - and we weren't disappointed. It's a roadside take out diner with a few picnic tables available for eating in the sun. Good portions, fair prices, and the clams were crispy without being overdone and dried out.
