Absolutely do not recommend. I only gave 1 star because there was no option for zero stars. The food was *just* okay, but it was wildly outweighed by the absolutely terrible service and atmosphere. Owners were the only other people in the restaurant, sitting at a table, listening to obnoxiously loud videos on his phone. With no other sound (no music at all) this was incredibly distracting. We both ordered a coffee each, and water with our meals. We didn't get the coffees until the meals came, so I declined mine and realized after we left I was still charged for it. We were brought 2 sets of silverware and one napkin. Upon realizing this, the man yelled to his wife and son (both working in the kitchen) where the napkins were. We never got another napkin. Just shared the one. The wait was far to long for being the only 2 in the restaurant, but once we realized they were making meals for themselves at the same time it made a little more sense. They ate at the same time as us, and just shouted from their table to ours to ask how our food was. While the phone videos continued at full volume. These are also all the "main" problems we had. There were a million little things that I won't bother getting into, including the fact that one entire side of the restaurant was clearly dedicated to being their "living area", and the bathroom was unclean and smelled. It was a horrible experience overall, that I continue to share with people to warn them to stay away. Neither of us will ever be back, nor will anyone I share our terrible experience with.

Disgusting. We went in for lunch. They still had the warming trays out for Sunday breakfast. An enormous man sitting in the corner (the owner?) walked over to the trays, grabbed three hamsteaks with his hands, and took them back to his table. He proceeded to eat all three, with his hands, one after the other. The fries were good though.

Facility was not clean. Roast turkey on menu. No mashed potatoes, substituted fries. No stuffing, substituted with boxed. Frozen or canned mixed veggies mostly raw. No turkey! Substituted chicken. High prices for low quality.

The Lantern use to be a really good place to order dinner. The burgers use to be so big that I had to cut them in half and would be stuffed if I was able to eat the whole thing. Now they are making them half the size and the price is higher. I realize the cost of items have gone up….but don’t raise the price and give your customers less. $9.00 is a bit much for a cheeseburger that leaves you hungry but empties your wallet.Very disappointed to say the least!!

Food was excellent. Clubhouse sandwich as good as i have ever had. Also recommend the apple crisp.. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I was there with fussy eaters but all the plates were empty.

We were in for a meal last evening and we're not going back. Service was good BUT it took almost an hour between ordering and receiving our food. If it is going to take that long to prepare and serve a meal the customer should be told in advance and be given the opportunity to order something else that will not take as long to prepare. The food, after it finally arrived was good but the length of time it took was unacceptable.
