Unplanned stop at this restaurant for a stopover on the road and it was a real pleasure.
Lobster rolls are excellent and inexpensive. Impeccable service!
Very simple room atmosphere.

Well made, down home food. The beef they use is really tasty. The fish is well cooked. The plum sauce is so good! Definitely get that for your fish. Honestly, the fries aren’t my favourite… we usually get mashed potatoes or potato salad instead.
It does get loud in there, some sound baffling would be a benefit.
But I do enjoy the simple decor and unfussiness of it all. We go there all the time. A must stop restaurant.

Great service and amazing food. Left full and with plenty left overs. The server was the sweetest and his friendliness added to our honeymoon adventure! Thanks for the good vibes Sandpiper✨️

I ordered a chicken ceasor wrap. I couldn't believe how small it was. For 17.00 give me more than two small pieces of deep fried chicken. Very disappointed. But, I didn't send it back so that's on me.

We ate here one night. Fish and chips was lack lustre as breading was heavy. I got mash potatoes instead of fries - tiny portion. We ordered the seafood stew and it was basically milk with some seafood in it. No flavour or veggies at all. The one thing I’d say is that they do make their own desserts and they were really good. Most of us from the group are from Nova Scotia and were expecting more I guess. Service was good as she did her best to keep going given how busy she was.
Kid-friendliness: Half portions was a nice option.

Seems like just your basic family-run diner when you enter the place with no bells and whistles, but I've been there a handful of times and the service we have received has always been friendly and accommodating and the food has always been great.
We vacation in the area every summer and always make a point of dropping in here at least once every trip.

Cute & charming family style eatery. Very nondescript but a great little spot. Dine-in or out on the patio with a gorgeous view! And both dining room & patio were spotless!!! Fully licensed so you can have a nice cold beer or wine with your meal. Small but very good selection of both domestic & local beers! I had the fish & chips & they were massive, delicious with a crispy light batter. Fries were home cut & cooked perfectly. I wish it came with a side of coleslaw. My wife had the lobster stew, which came with a delicious fluffy homemade tea biscuit. She liked the stew but it was just essential lobster and milk/broth. The portion was good, but for being a “stew”, it could have used some potato & carrots.
We took dessert to go. I heard another client rave about the blueberry pie. It was absolutely delicious. And again, homemade crust & filling. Crust was perfect. Flaky & not too heavy. The service is great and our server was a sweetheart. I give it 9/10 only because my wife thought the lobster stew a little underwhelming. I need to try the homemade coconut cream pie when we go back!!!

Came back a second time to this little gem. Staff were super friendly, food was really fresh and tasty but you must make room for the AMAZING homemade desserts ❤️ and the complimentary biscuits were the lightest tastiest I have had in Nova

Delicious local seafood and a friendly, caring staff. The view of the sea and the sounds of friends and community members talking in the dining room are both delightful. The seafood platter and lobster roll are generously portioned, too! Excellent value overall.
