A gem in the Crown of the deep eastern shore. Food, service, atmosphere were all second to none. Dedication to customer satisfaction and community was obvious and seemed effortless. It’s just the way things are done. Happy to support this small scale local business working do hard to sustain rural life in Sherbrooke for those that make it home and those curious enough to make the trek.

Will be back fur sure. Save a seat fir community potluck!

It located in a cozy small town called Sherbrooke Village. Loved vintage and retro vibe, welcoming and kind staffs. We had a Sherbrooke chicken wrap which it was so refreshing with the fresh ingredients and amazing special sauce!! The pulled pork sandwich was juicy with full of flavour and soft. Definitely recommended!! ❤️❤️

What a nice place to stumble upon during my week’s bike camping trip across the province. From the warm welcoming, comforting atmosphere (and cool AC!), to the amazing food. Such a delight. Chefs breakfast coffee tasted strong but not too sweet and their Lobster BLT was probably the best lobster sandwich I have ever had. Crip and warm toasted bread, with large sweet chunks of lobster on top of a BLT. What not to love? Thanks again for the great service, drinks, and food during a long day (and week) of travel!

PLEASE READ. If u are looking for a place to eat in Sherbrooke NS, u need to read this. I was there today for lunch. I'm not one for Bistro's, but I needed to eat. After finding Beanie's, I walked in hoping for something good. When I walked inside I was welcomed and felt like I had just stepped into a friend's kitchen. As I picked a table and took off my jacket, I looked to a waitress an asked if I could have a coffee, she was already getting me a glass of water btw. I already knew what I wanted to order, as I had looked at the menu on line. I ordered the chicken club, advertised to be their best seller. Well, let me tell u.......I'm not a young guy, and anyone who knows me, knows I like a good chicken club. U can never go wrong with one (except for Boston Pizza, don't ever get one there) I've eaten chicken clubs all over the world. The one I had today was the best of my life. I don't know how it's possible to bring a chicken club to another level, but the people at Beanie's have found a way. Oh, but wait there's more..........the coffee was amazing too. I should know, I'm the guy who order's coffee when its 30 plus degrees out. Thanks to everyone at Beanie's, I will be back.

I was on a motorcycle ride with a local from Canso. He had been there before and said it was good. We both ordered the Beanie Panini. It was fantastic. It's a small place with a great vibe. I will certainly stop in every time I come up from Florida.

UPDATE July 13, 2025 We stopped in for lunch while on motorcycle ride. Another top notch meal. I'm sure I'll stop in again while in Nova Scotia.

A gem of a cafe in an unexpected place. Tammie and her staff accommodated my group of 15 and had us all fed and on our way in under an hour! Service was efficient and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, and the cool and tasteful dining room was a welcome respite on a hot sunny day.

Between all of us, we sampled most of the menu's lunch offerings, and everyone seemed pleased with their choices. Salads were fresh and crisp, sandwich fillings were well-seasoned and very tasty, made even better by being sandwiched in between some delectable home-made breads! Coffee was also very good.

I would highly recommend Beanie's if you find yourself in Sherbrooke. You won't be disappointed! Already looking forward to my next visit!
