Food was horrible. Cost way too much for what you get. 6$ for a mini plate of onions and mushrooms, barely cooked. Steak was flavorless, tough and overcooked. Side veg was cold mushy peas. For all the people who recommended this restaurant, you all seriously need to rethink what good food really is.
3.9 stars is so way off from reality.

My wife and I decided to try this pub and drove in from Halifax to do so. We entered and had to wait to be seated which is normal but after literally standing at the front with out even being acknowledged for 10 mins we left and decided to go to a place that appreciates the service.

Our waitstaff was very SPECIAL! We will remember her and the food. Got the Ribs and Skins! Hearty, filling and very flavorful! Ribs fell off the bone! Just visiting from Cocoa, Florida but will return next summer!

I went in there with my sweet little service dog and they put me way back in the corner. Very far away from any one else. They were very unfriendly

Best skins around. Service is always great and the waitresses are fantastic. Sometimes service can be a little slow depending on how busy they are but that generally isn't a problem. If you let them know you're in a rush they will try to speed it up for you.

I had the hot hamburger, cooked to a satisfying char, and generously topped with rich, savory gravy. The option to have it open-faced or "traditional" is a thoughtful touch, and the dish, including fries, arrived hot and fresh, just as advertised. I did miss the classic side of coleslaw, and every place has their own twist.

I know we're in a world of inflation, but 20.25 for the hot hamburger seemed a little steep.

The interior seemed worn and a bit dim due to the small windows. Some background music might have been nice. The soccer game on the TV that no one was watching was odd.  Despite a few quirks, Whistler's has its charms. The food was satisfying. The spacious layout, with its stage and separate VLT area, hints at potential for a livelier ambiance. There's also an open air eating area off to the side.

If you're seeking a hot and fresh meal in a laid-back setting, Whistler's Pub and Grub is worth a visit.

Food looked good, never got to eat.
Food for a family of 4 arrived 5 mins after our table of 13 had finished eating, asked for it to be bagged for take-out, asked for any consideration for the inconvenience and Boy-O that's when the sh_t hit the fan.. waved off after 9 people's meal was already paid for. Embarrassed over the whole situation. If your having a bad day take it out somewheres else... Not on the public.
