I don’t recommend going to 7x7 as their quality of service and food has dropped significantly. Flat Diet Pepsi to start. Cold gravy that had a film over it when served. Club house had chicken slices from sobeys that you use for a stir fry and a bag of mixed veggies. The chicken Mac and cheese. Well. The chicken was hard as a rock. The two piece fish and chips. The fish was dry and hard. The coleslaw I took one bite and had to spit out. I do not recommend this place at all! Vacuum cleaner behind the counter. It was not the 7x7 experience we’ve had before. And for the money you pay, it wasn’t worth it at all. McDonald’s could do better. Won’t be back.

Great service. Great people so it's a 2 but the food is well below average. Pretty tasteless. Add-ons for everything without even telling us. Hot sauce was $2 extra? Cup of chowder has zero in it. Not a single piece of fish or potato. It was just a light cream sauce.It was also a $13 add on instead of fries. I would never go again.

Best smash burger ever and then add sweet potato fries! Wow I ate the whole serving(which is unusual for me). Staff was very friendly and efficient. If I am ever in Sydney again I will go there again. Side note, this place was recommended by the police chief. He didn’t steer us wrong.

Today July 9th I went to the restaurant by recommendation and I had a very disappointing experience regarding my plate. I got I lobster rissoto which it was just 3 small pieces of lobster with a huge plate of risotto. I didn’t say anything at that time because the receptionist was very lovely to me. This plate cost me more or less 64 Canadian dollars- about $50 dollars us. Hopefully with this they change that plate!

We had lunch here and it has the best Risotto and Arnold Palmers ever!!! Great friendly service, Ally was delightful. Also tried the poutine, first time, and it was very good too. We would recommend this restaurant definitely!!

7 by 7 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is a must-visit for anyone who loves creative food and drinks! The Taylor Swift-themed cocktails were a total highlight—fun, delicious, and so well thought out. The spicy meatballs were packed with flavor, though definitely a little too hot to handle for some (but worth it!). The butter chicken was rich, comforting, and absolutely hit the spot. And let’s not forget the desserts—they looked absolutely stunning, almost too pretty to eat (but you’ll want to!). Fantastic atmosphere and a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
