I found this café to have a wonderful ambiance, making it an ideal spot to work from. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, creating the perfect environment for productivity or relaxation. Their holiday lattes are absolutely exceptional—rich, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. I also tried the mushroom melt, which was incredibly delicious with its savory filling and perfectly toasted bread. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. This place is definitely worth visiting for a great coffee break or a quiet work session.

Cute cafe in a pretty space in the arts centre. The matcha latte was too milky for my taste and the olive oil loaf and cookie were a bit dry. I would give their hot foods options a try next time.

I ordered a Veggie slice 🍕 and a small salad for $15… the salad was just kale. Pizza tasted good but how is that a salad? Takes forever for them to make your coffee too.

CLEAN, cute and delicious place. If I'm in area again looking for coffee or a breaky sandy, I would come back. They were open when other cafes were not!

Did you do your research before you came to Sydney and found out that 'oatcakes' are a traditional delicacy here? Were you then disappointed to find that you can't find them on any menus in town?
Don't fret, Cafe Marie has your back! We had an impromptu afternoon tea with oatcakes and cookies in the middle of our visit and everything was clean and tasty. Call ahead, the oatcakes sell out (there were only 3 left at 2:30). They also have their own tea blend that was quite nice.
Conveniently located near Jost Heritage House.

Great little place on the second floor of a building. Simple but good food. I had an everything bagel that was toasted perfectly with the perfect amount of cream cheese And It was still warm. I also ordered the steelworkers lunch, which comes with pepperoni, cheddar cheese, blocks carrots, celery, and a vegetable dip. It also includes your choice of a cookie and fruit, I chose an apple and lemon cookie.
Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian menu options.

Lovely cafe in the north end of Sydney. The drink menu is excellent, and the baked goods are great. I was impressed they had vegan baked goods, as that is quite rare! Their lunch menu looks delicious. If you are getting some kind of a coffee/espresso drink, it can take a little while. Lots of options for seating!

Sweet little place. I had a little trouble finding it but it was worth persisting! Go inside the Arts building, take the elevator up to 2U (press that button) and take a right out of the elevator. The indoor space is nice and the outdoor area is lovely! The staff are so friendly, coffee wonderful and the cheddar scone I had delicious. If I weren’t just visiting the area I would go there regularly.

Awesome cafe that does an excellent job of accommodating dietary restrictions/allergies! It gets really busy at lunch so sometimes you do have to wait but it’s always worth it! Plus, what can be sourced locally is and their food scraps go back to local pork farmers !

Coffee, meals, treats, and atmosphere were all stellar. Coffee for me was better than Dr. Luke's. A great alternative.
