I don’t normally leave reviews like this one but I feel I have to. The racism I witnessed was disgusting. I watched a white A&W employee completely embarrass a nice young Indian lady who was confused about an item on the menu and made a mistake when she ordered her meal. Now when I say the employee embarrassed this young lady, I mean she raised her voice loud enough for multiple people to stop what they were doing to turn around and see what was happening. Even the person I was on the phone with at the time had asked me what all the commotion was all about. It was obvious that she reacted that was simply because this young lady was Indian, she did not treat the white people before or after her that way. The way the issue was handled was completely unnecessary. Side note, my sweet potato fries weren’t even cooked all the way though. Anyway won’t be back here.

Is it just me or do they make White Castle size burgers at ONLY this store? Other A & W's are much larger!
Place is usually good but today was another level of gross... the co2 for the soda was running low so they were filling a tub 3-4 times and dumping it in the sink afterchanging co2 to get the soda running right at this point I had ordered a poutine and a burger combo... 20$ , I watch as this cook touched money , went into the kitchen then opened the fridge door, no gloves , never washed hands, grabs raw RAW chicken then puts it in the frier... and starts making burgers and fries after having raw chicken on his hands no cleaning I even seen him grab 1 fry at a time and put it in... it was gross beyond belief I brought this to the Manger who them addressed the employees who then washed their hands. But the contaminated food and equipment WAS NOT CLEANED or thrown out but instead sold to customers. I asked for a refund which was not given this is hands down pathetic ( Trying to get ahold of corperate is like trying to find lost treasure never realized there is not a phone number directly to call, its EXTREMELY WORRYING been 10 days now with no concerns addressed. not to mention being hung up on when voicing your concerns to a supervisor at location over the phone. ) VERY rude. honestly disgusted through every inch of my being from what I witnessed here.

Went here for lunch one day after work seen a employee in back grab RAW product and place into the frier bare handed , never washed his hands , then proceeded to make burgers and other customers food with the same hands, all the equipment was cross contaminated, the food was as well.. the supervisor on shift has said And I quote here When I said what I noticed to her, " I know, I know sir, Im sorry what would you like me to do. ??? " Are you joking you know? the fact you know and you allow it to happen anyway either means you dont care, or they dont listen, and either way its not good enough getting people sick is just disgusting. And goodluck trying to get any information on the manager or someone higher up to talk to. you will NOT , will NOT get there information extremely rude.
