Boardwalk Taproom and Eatery

First time visit over the holidays for an office party. Great food and awesome service and the place was packed. Definitely worth a visit for a great dining experience.

The place was very untidy, there was litter on the floors, and the washroom needed to be cleaned. Our waitress didnt tell us that there were daily specials, we overheard another waitress telling a different table, which was to bad because I would have gotten it. The bacon wrapped scallops were very dry and appeared to be deep fried. They didn't have much flavor other than old grease. The side salad I ordered was quite tasty, the dressing was wonderful. Even though I was only there a week ago, I sadly can't remember what I had with the salad so it obviously wasn't memorable. My partner enjoyed his meal which was liver and onions. The "onions" it came with was a few onion rings on top of the liver which I thought was unusual. Overall, I found our meal was not worth the high cost.

The Boardwalk is a nice place to meet friends or family for a delicious meal. You look out and can see some of the Sydney Harbour as you enjoy your meal.I found the staff to be very friendly and they came back often enough to make sure we were well taken care of.This is a nice place to come for a good meal!

Parking: I parked in the parking lot that overlooks the Sydney Port area.

Love The Taproom it is one of my favorite spots for special occasions, holidays, and date night.The food is good and the staff are pleasant.The Atmosphere is wonderful especially at night and around the holidays like Christmas.

This is a great spot to stop for a meal and/or drinks! The prices are very reasonable and the food was great. We had the tuna tacos, club sandwich, and pulled pork melt and they were all delicious. Our server was also great, and our food and drinks came very quickly.We had never been here before and arrived in the dark so it was a bit hard to find. If you use google maps directions you’ll end up on the street of the building but far from the entrance to the restaurant. You’ll want to drive down behind the building and there is parking by the water, no need to park on esplanade.There is a great view of the water from the dining room, and I’m sure it’s even better during the day.We’ve been visiting the island for years and have never stopped here before but very glad we checked it out.

Most over cooked fish (fish & chips) I have ever had in my life. Physically tough to chew, other orders passing my table were just as dark.

Dinner for 2. Staff was friendly. Place was quiet then filled up to half full on a Tuesday night. Appy - Bacon wrapped scallops 6 for $15. Just Ok.Fish Tacos 7/10. Fish & chips Ok 6/10 side of baked beans was very good. Fish was good - batter coating was thick & bit chewy. Plently of chips. Our 3rd seafood meal the past 4 nights. This one finished 3rd.

Always delicious food, great service, and incredible view.

We love coming here it's become a go to instead of flavour! The servers are always so kind and helpful, and the strawberry margarita is my favorite. Love the steak dinner and the alfredo pasta, and the dip with 3 different chips is always so good.

Made reservations for a Friday dinner, told the lady we were from out of province and they sat us at the front door a table by a window would of been nice! Also waiter wasn’t or seemed to not be happy to be working, we also saw a couple come in and no one wait on them so they left!

Very smiley and apparently helpful waiter service but lol carefully at your bill! A pint and a half of high priced beer charged when I only had a pint and the half was a cheap larger. Half a salad charged when I order a side salad. So look carefully before you pay !!

I'm here on vacation...my cousin took me here!!! Definitely impressed!! Very friendly, good prices and the food was amazing! I had a Mediterranean wrap with a cesar salad! Thank you so much!!!

Food was not great. Had to send one of the meals back as it was extremely overcooked and inedible. Server was understanding and polite. Service was great, food was very very bad.

Our server Kole was excellent- handled a busy group of tables like an expert. Meals were good and very reasonably priced.
