I was at open mic on Thursday, and as a designated driver, I wasn't drinking. I have an ostomy and social anxiety, and the bathroom was constantly full of people talking, and my ostomy was acting up. At around 11, I took an Imodium with a swig of Pepsi from my bag, so as not to trouble the busy staff for a glass of water. A few minutes later, I was kicked out despite telling them what happened. The staff were rude, callous, and insensitive—Cape Breton's finest.

Blink and you might miss out on this place(we nearly did) as you stroll along. So make sure you put it into google maps and find it…you won’t be sorry.
Superb service and excellent beer. It was quite early when we got there and the sun (in this part of the world) hadn’t yet sailed over the yardarm so we chose the gentle approach with the Breton Light Lager..clean, refreshing and full of flavour.i
Wonderfully friendly and welcoming and another great find on our travels.
(No review of the food because as usual we didn’t eat any but plenty of others did and looked delicious)

Had the 10 ounce steak and it was over the top, server was a 10 star person and great all around, and the craft beer selection was huge. First time being there and MOST diffently going back. Hats off to all

A nice evening with some yum food, good service and beautiful ambience. Live Music that was sweet and soft. Very friendly staff and quite quick service. We enjoyed every item that we had ordered. Surf & Turf (Shrimps, scallops and sirloin with mashed potato and veggies) , Pesto pasta and Daniel's Special Burger with Poutine were our order with some orange and apple juice. Wonder why their menu was missing any white sauce pastas :(Tasty and filling food. Quantity seemed quite decent. Might be a perfect joint for a group of friends who would want to have some drinks, eat, chat and laugh...

The food is amazing. We had 6 people in our group and everyone commented how good the food was.The sever was awesome, funny and quick to wait on us but he didn't interrupt when we were talking amongst ourselves.Overall a great place and the prices were very affordable. We'll be back next time we're in Sydney for sure!

My girl friends and are from Alberta and was told the this place had good music .. we showed up and wanted a $5 cover .. we didn't have cash and was than told their ATM WAS EMPTY .. place was empty and turned us away over $5 and we were there to drink for the night !!.. worse business choice ever .: happy to spend my money else whee .. thank you to The old triangle for being decent and just that bit more intelligent business wise !! Be sure to tell everyone else to stay clear of the ignorant and plain stupidity of this place .. your staff was rude!

I just had the boiled dinner/ Jigs dinner and it was AMAZING. I'm a big eater and no way could I eat it all. You can certainly tell it's NOT the cooks first time making it because it was perfect. I'd definitely recommend ! Oh yeah it was only like $16 too. I'll be getting it again SEVERAL TIMES !
