Eave Restaurant & Bar is tucked inside the Waterfront Holiday Inn. Walk through the hotel’s lobby and head for the elevators. You can’t miss it!
From the moment we stepped in, the modern and stylish atmosphere set the tone for a relaxing dining experience. The panoramic waterfront view is absolutely stunning.
The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The menu offers an impressive selection, with something to suit every taste. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just looking for a standout spot to eat while in Sydney N.S. The Eave is well worth a try!

Great food and waitress!
Looooooooved this place!!!
Vibe was great. Upscale, classy, gorgeous view.
It’s a small restaurant, but I didn’t hate the intimate feel.
The wine was so delicious.
The server was extremely friendly and had no issues answering any menu questions.
The food was incredible. Everything was so well seasoned. Even the plating was great.
When I first looked this place up and saw that it was inside the Holiday Inn, I thought NOPE! So I went to a different restaurant (Flavor on the water)… flavor had a horrible menu and terrible decor. We left flavor and came here. Best decision ever.
If you’re not sure where to eat… you are now. Eat here.

Somebody else said it and I agree- get a real chef if you're going to try to present a menu like they have.
The server did comp the pasta dish I literally couldn't stomach and offered to replace it, but the types of things that made it inedible were simple mistakes that terrified me to have anything else from that kitchen. So gross.
And a real shame - the pasta is freshly made, and they ruined it in a soupy mess of burnt oil with minimal season topped with overcooked scallops and shrimp and about 4 tbsp of pepper dumped on top.
The atmosphere was lovely tho.

Loved having a view of the waterfront. Far too many artificial plants in the windows, walls and hung from the sprinkler system?
We had a small table, which took an hour and a half for myself to revive a very dry chicken sandwich and a few drinks. So much focaccia bread, sour dough might have been a better alternative. The fries were all very tiny numbs. No one at the table finished their meal. Had to send back the lobster bisque because of a sour taste to the lobster.

Eave Restaurant inside the Holiday Inn Waterfront in Sydney offered a wonderful dining experience. My colleagues and I had dinner here, and everything about the evening was enjoyable.
The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The gentleman who served us provided great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.
We ordered two steaks, including a tenderloin, and both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which complemented the meal nicely.
The ambiance of the restaurant was modern and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner. The view of the waterfront was a definite highlight, adding a special touch to the evening.
Overall, Eave is a fantastic choice for a meal in Sydney. Great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting make this restaurant a standout. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is probably the best part of this restaurant. The food was sub par and very high priced. The service was not the greatest, the waitress we had was almost annoyed that she had to serve/deal with people. I agree with another post, if your gonna advertise upscale food, get a real chef. No garnish or pizazz at all. The pasta was almost $30 and i could have went to the grocery store for $10 and got much better. Drinks were meh and $15 each. We wasted almost $200 there with tip, which i did not want to leave, but did anyway.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are really clearly marked on their menu….. unfortunately they do include meat. Vegetarian gnocchi with prosciutto. Interesting

Last night was our first time eating at Eave....and it definitely won't be out last. The food was amazing and the service from Marissa was exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant and very inviting. Our meals were prepared to perfection ? I highly recommend that everyone try this wonderful restaurant. I will go as far to say it is the best place to dine in Sydney.

Hands down the best meal I have had in a long time. The food from start to finish was amazing, full of flavour. Our waitress was very polite, kind, and friendly, she brought smiles to us all with every visit. The atmosphere is very modern, clean, and chic. The views are stunning of the waterfront with up-close views of cruise ships and stellar sunset. For everyone at our table, this was our first time at Eave, and without a doubt, we will be back. I highly highly highly recommend Eave for an out of this world dining experience.

Service was excellent. The atmosphere was good.
The food quality is just not there. The prices are on the very high end of what you can find on the island, and there are much better options.
We had three appetizers and two main. Every single dish was at least a little disappointing.
Especially the main course, the seafood spicy pasta. Two sad shrimp on top, a huge lump of hot peppers in an otherwise bland sauce, with pastas that stick together. Price tag? Way too much!
Get a chef who knows how to provide value and pay him or her a good living wage. I ain't coming back, there are much better options.
