I recommend EVERYTHING about Flavor ! The delicious food, stellar service, inviting and friendly atmosphere, the whole package! My husband and I frequent all of the locations because we love the atmosphere and the food but we just had our first catering experience with Scott and team and I cannot say enough positive things ! They hosted my Christmas staff party at the Flavor 19 location last weekend and it exceeded expectations. Doug and Michelle were beyond accommodating and so friendly and easy to deal with (as was Scott). They were very accommodating and flexible with the meal choices for such a big group and I have not gotten one negative comment on any of the food served that night. It was set up and decorated so beautifully that it definitely kickstarted the Christmas spirit with our crew! Only negative thing is that we had trouble choosing from all of the mouth-watering options AND it went by too fast and we want to do it all again 😋 🎄 . Visited this restaurant a few weekends ago as I wanted to try their lobster roll, and I had seen the decent reviews. My initial impression of the restaurant was that the lighthouse centrepiece was kind of interesting, but the overall vibe is a bit off with the amount of open space and the layout in general. However, that doesn't really matter at the end of the day in this case. I tried two seasonal cocktails - a fall variation of a Aperol spritz and a pumpkin spice white Russian. The spritz was nice but tasted similar to the standard recipe. The seasonal white Russian was absolutely delicious. As for the food, it was just meh. The lobster roll had a good amount of meat, but I just didn't find it very flavourful. The chowder was not good at all - it was fishy in taste, and I suspect that they may be using frozen mixed seafood packs in the chowder; at least, that's what it tasted like. Overall, not worth the $110+ that I spent (lobster roll, side chowder, 3 drinks).
I am not a local, and I have been on a mission to find a decent lobster roll in this town - I haven't found one. Foodies beware: Sydney leaves much to be desired with their restaurant scene.

amazing! food was great we had the whipped goat cheese and feta dip with pitas to start and OMG it was great! the seafood chowder was delicious. salmon was very upscale but not too expensive, the location was beautiful and the view was insane!! awesome experience and the huge fiddle was right outside

Don't eat here, hubby and I ordered lobster roll and chips it was a staggering $35 each!! The fries were lukewarm and mediocre, lobster was tough and poorly cooked, service was slow,staff not really bothered about clearing tables, just wanted your money,we ate here 13th October,we were on a cruise ship ,I would not recommend

I was surprised at this location. The restaurant was located upstairs and is open to the "market below" which struck me as bizarre at first bit the charm grew on me the longer we were there. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Great seafood if you like mussels, shrimp, lobster and scallops. There was live music which was a nice touch. The view of the water and pier was the coup de la grace. Would definitely recommend! One thing to note if your "tourist shopping". The shops are only open below of the cruise ships are in port so you may want to call ahead!

The food was a little underwhelming for what I expected. The beet salad was ok, did find some expired leaves in it. The house lager is delicious. The coconut and squash risotto was over cooked, could have been great. Had the flourless chocolate cake with cherry compote. I personally found the cake grainy, and the flavor not particularly chocolatey. The service was quite amazing, will give the food another try in the future, just for the service that was experienced. I hope next time is better.

It's a little pricy but beautiful view and very nice waiters.
Another surprise, on the way to Louisbourg decided to stop here for lunch and didn’t realize until we got there that it was right at the cruise terminal. Our hopes dropped but were soon allayed. They were very busy but the staff were great. I went for the seafood trio, shrimp, mussels and oysters which were very good. My wife had the Lobster Roll which was excellent with huge hunks of claw meat.

I cannot stress enough if Eddy is working ask for him to be your waiter! This is a great spot to eat! Eddy was an amazing waiter! If you are coming to the big fiddle, then hey fiddle diddle yourself to the flavour of water! Great food great people!!
