We loved our brunch buffet breakfast. A great balance of breakfast and lunch options, as well as Canadian and Phillipino cuisine.

Absolutely love the food, staff and atmosphere at Isla Kusina. Me and my partner eat here frequently and we have never ever been disappointed. We also had friends home from away over the holidays and took them here and they loved it. The restaurant is beyond clean and the staff dote on you in a considerate and thoughtful way without overwhelming you. The weekend brunch buffet is always delicious full of variety but you’ll also be happy with whatever you pick off of the menu whether you get pancit bihon, spring rolls, chicken adobo or longsilog. Get something different every time you go you won’t regret it. Absolutely our favourite place to eat on Cape Breton Island! You really don’t get customer service like that anywhere else, on top of delicious homemade meals I hope we can keep eating here for years to come! 👏🏽❤️

I ate there for the first time. Staff was very friendly. The service was quick. I ordered the Creamy Chicken Pasta. The serving was generous, the chicken very tender and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely eat there the next time I am in town.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere. We stopped in after getting off the ferry from Port aux Basques, and it was well worth the stop. All the food was delicious, wait staff were friendly and helpful. We had the Lumpiang and Pork Siomai appetizers, the Chicken Adobo and Sinigang with pork belly entrees, and the Leche Flan and Banana con yelp desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Parking: Plenty of parking space in the Heartstone Inn parking lot.

Excellent food for value. Spring rolls were great. Ordered tofu sisig (veg) and chicken ala king. Excellent texture and taste. Both were served sizzling on a cast iron skillet. Very polite and patient service. Would definitely try again and highly recommended.

We went as a party of 5 for the mother's day brunch buffet and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was also very good. Highly recommend! We will be back.
This place was a surprising find... Went there on a Saturday and they had a Brunch Buffet... Loved it and ate so much... The spread had Pancakes, Spring rolls, Bacon, Sausage,Hams, Scrambled Eggs, Omlette, Home fries, Fried Rice, Pancit Bihon, Chicken Adobo, Crispy Fried Chicken, Mongolian Pork, Croissants, Toasts and coffee/tea and juices...Extremely friendly and sweet service. Shout out to the sweet lady Bell who was serving us with a smile. She was really understanding for the fact that one of us was a pure vegetarian and he could order a fully vegetarian friedrice and Sisig with tofu... He loved the dish too.If you wanna eat a lot for your breakfast, don't miss this Brunch. Do not expect a 5* Hotel experience. But the place has a good ambience and decent food at a decent price...

My first Philipino food experience and Wow!Crispy fried pork in the Takwa't Baboy is cravable and the special vinegar is off the hook! Finished up with the Halo-Halo, which was the most interesting dessert I've ever had! Staff is friendly and were more than willing to talk history of the food and country. An amazing experience all around!

We really enjoyed the chicken adobo and halo halo. Our waiter was also really nice and gave us this chili garlic sauce that is very spicy and complimented the food well.
