Today I had an upsetting experience at Kenny’s Pizza located in downtown Sydney. I asked to use the restroom and was refused the key. I understand that downtown businesses deal with real challenges—especially with drug use and people using washrooms in unsafe ways. I completely respect the need for caution.
But I’ve been ordering from Kenny’s Pizza from past several years. I’ve supported them regularly, and yet, there was zero acknowledgment or respect when I simply asked to use the washroom. I was turned away like I didn’t matter—no consideration, no basic human courtesy.
Yes, policies exist for a reason. But employees should also be able to exercise judgment. Not every person who walks in is a problem. Sometimes, it’s just someone who needs to use the washroom, nothing more.
Because of the way I was treated, I’ve decided I won’t be returning to Kenny’s Pizza. I know nobody cares—but I do.
last week around 7-9pm there was a indian girl who was working on shift she behave rude with me because i want to use the washroom of your store and she denied me and said its only customers because i am passing from store and it was an emergency, she not even think about the situation.
Had to buy a pop just to take a shit I have ibs service was terrible do not recommend this Kenny's pizza at all
Arrived about 20 minutes prior to close.. no slices available.. so I asked about other quick options, and was offered very little in the way of help from their supervisor, Mitch.
Usually good service here, but not today. I think there should be some options available to walk-ins, instead of basically being told to just leave.
Very bad service,it's was our first experience with Kenny's pizza , I regret for that bad staff . I don't why but they were good with other but doesn't reply well when asking .
I had ordered one medium size pizza only and it was dine in then also they took more then 40 min to prepare one medium size pizza.
Seriously !!
Staff was very rude when we ask for our order.
Some of the best pizza in Nova Scotia. Very friendly and great customer service and a nice place to eat in.
Went for a slice and got probably the worst “pizza” I’ve ever had. It was dry as a bone. Barely any cheese.
Got the donair pizza. It was pretty good.
Had to go to war to get a bottle of water instead of pop, but we got there after a discussion with the manager.
Great food, clean looking space and reasonable price, friendly service over all. No complaints

Got a slice and a bottle of root beer; sat at a booth and had a late dinner. Good pizza, definitely traditional crust, nicely sauced and good topping coverage. Slightly more expensive than Fresh Slice or another chain place but pizza was better, larger portions. Overall enjoyed my experience, friendly staff, would eat at again!

This was a very casual place, but it was licensed, and the food was solid. I had lasagna, which had a meaty sauce and plenty of cheese. I tried the pizza, which I thought was quite quite good, even though it didn't stand out as special.

After a long day of driving the Cabot Trail, we returned to Sydney late. Kenny's Pizza was open and an inviting sight! Parking is ample and with 11 people to feed, we were glad to have the space mostly to ourselves. We ordered a large veggie pizza with peppers and one with ham and pineapple. The pizzas were pipping hot and delicious... We also ordered small bites - mozzerlla sticks, fried pickles... which were very tasty! However, they came out after we got our pizzas! Needing more, we ordered another meat pizza which came out fresh and in no time! All in all, this place offered a variety of pizza and food options. We tried their toasted sub sandwich... which gets a quick run through the oven so that the cheese gets all melty! There are lots of different drink options and sides to satisfy everyone!
