If you are used to Shawarma plates in Ottawa and Montreal this is not even close to the same experience . They only give a tbsp or so of hummus and the other salads that go with your meal. Not even close to the same generous portions you may have experienced elsewhere. Service was fine but just be aware of the difference between what you may expect.
I am a huge fan of shawarma, and this is why I ended up visiting the Lebanese Flower during my stay in Sydney. Gosh is the food here on another level! Wow! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Tasty shawarma (chicken or beef), generous serving, and super friendly service. Now I have to convince the owner to move to Quebec City. ;-) Honestly, anyone who likes lebanese food MUST drop by.
our cruise ship stopped in Sydney and we decided to try this place for lunch. So glad we did!! The food is excellent - very flavorful. The staff (husband and wife) are very friendly. My husband got the chicken shawarma platter, my dad (who had never had Lebanese food before and doesn't always like new foods) got the beef shawarma platter, my mom got the chicken skewer, and I got the shish tawouk pita.
