Things didn’t start out well as I was ignored after walking in. Two women looked at me and went on with their business. There was one table occupied so I thought maybe they weren’t open for business after all? I approached the front counter and when the woman finally acknowledged my presence, I asked if they were open for lunch. She was quite hostile with her reply that they were. I was taken aback but decided to not take it personally so I said that there were five of us....
Very cute cafe, we stopped in Sydney as part of a cruise, and saw a flyer for Louann's at a craft fair in the Royal Canadian Legion 138 and decided to try it. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, super yummy cinnamon roll and chocolate chip cookies, feels like a lovely little neighborhood stop.
This quaint cafe located in Sydney is perfect for breakfast, a morning snack or light lunch. The food is hand prepared by a lovely group of ladies who wrangle this cafe. A great place to grab a coffee and pie for that morning break.
