Visiting Sydney we decided we felt like some Chinese food and we chose Peking restaurant based off previous reviews. We had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious and our waitress was so nice. I would go back again for sure. 5 stars

Chow mein is absolutely vile. I ordered it delivered and couldn’t get 2 bites in. Never again.

Not a bad resteraunt at all. The food was pretty good, I really liked the beef and broccoli and the honey garlic ribs. The sweet and sour chicken was decent, although the sauce is just the VH cherry sauce so it wasnt that thick and dark rich sauce most places have around here. The waitress was very attentive and sweet, and the food came out pretty quickly. I did find it weird how dark this place is, like i would be creeped out if i worked there and was alone in that dark resteraunt. Dark walls and no light make it a little depressing. Overall i would go back because the food wasnt bad at all, and the staff were lovely.

Tried takeout from here for the first time, and I was very disappointed. The food didn’t seem properly cooked, and I ended up having to throw it out. I’ve tried the same dishes from other places around Canada, but this one was a major letdown. I was really craving Chinese food, but unfortunately, this didn’t satisfy at all.

Ordered $90 in takeout for 2. Food was terrible. Bland and no flavor. The fried rice tasted like coffee. And I hate coffee. All meats tasted like they were near or already spoiled. Take out portions comically small. Worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. And I've eaten Chinese food all over north America. This restaurant used to be the high end Chinese restaurant in the city but it's gone way down hill. Keeping things shiny out front for the cruise ship passengers. What a rip off. Never again
