We were ignored by our server, food was brought to us by another server. The busboy refilled my coffee after waiting 15 minutes and having my server refill coffee at the table beside us. Even once we were done and ready to pay, she never showed her face, so we had to flag down someone else to settle up. Zero tip and loss of a customer.

I always loved dining in here but take out has been an absolute disapointment 2 meat lovers skillets, i live 5 min away n they were both cold, had to heat up cause who eats cold eggs, the cheese was barly melted, not to mention the meal used to be something u could barly finish now the serving doesn't even touch the side of the container for 48$ the butters not even melt on the bread it was so cold& this is how it was served to us. Will deff be my last brunch from here.

Where to start instant potatoes not real potatoes, canned gravy, canned peas and carrots like it's total false advertisement. This restaurant is garbage. Save your money. Don't eat here!

Went for breakfast was turned away for service because we had 8 people. Wasn't asked if we could wait the young man we spoke with just told us that they couldn't serve us. Terrible customer service worst I have ever experienced. We took our business to Simeon's restaurant my recommendation is to just skip Smitty's and goto another restaurant.

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Our food was ice cold, the server forgot the side of home fries twice, then remembered when we were finished our breakfast, so I told him not to bother. Our tea and coffee were both cold, and no water was ever brought. We will never return to this restaurant again. The only positive experience was the friendly greeter, and our server was friendly. Not sure why anyone would eat here....maybe because of the familiarity, but wow!! Never again! The sausages were disgusting, the bacon was beyond crispy, and the waffle and pancake had no flavour.

Food took more time than seemed necessary for amount of people in restaurant. One plate had to be sent back to be warmed up (a 10% discount was given), another food was not prepared as requested. Extras asked for were not brought to table (milkers and butter had to be asked for twice).

Served by Mary K who was very attentive and the man who took us to our table and served coffee was very friendly and welcoming, sorry we didn’t catch your name.We had Bottomless Coffee, Poutine with beef gravy and Salisbury Steak - All very tasty but the the Salisbury steak was dry, missing the gravy and onions and food took a little long to arrive, which Mary apologised for.

Very disappointed. There was a sign taped inside the front door saying they were not accepted resumes. We waited a few minutes before a very polite host came to greet us. We then waited a while longer to be taken to a table in an overcrowded adjoining lounge area. The restaurant was quite busy but during our entire visit, we only ever saw three wait staff who were extremely overworked. After quite another while, our very friendly waiter took our order then we waited, and waited, and waited…. During this time, I visited the bathroom only to discover the only accessible bathroom out of order. Great!!!! The people at the table beside us asked to borrow our sugar bottle as theirs was one large clump and obviously hadn’t been refilled or cleaned in a long time. They were also disappointed with the wait time. After an hour we left without ever having received our meal. Perhaps it might be time to start accepting resumes again or at least make use of some that you already have. Terrible.
