Had the blackened haddock today. Everything was so delicious. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. We were sitting on the patio and were able to watch a cruise ship leave. Was a wonderful evening out.

Me, my wife, and our 10 year old daughter ate here tonight for the first time and it won't be our last. The food was excellent, the views on the patio were amazing, portions were large, prices were very reasonable and the local beer was awesome too. I had the burger with hand cut fries and it was the best restaurant burger I've had in ages. Definitely a homemade patty (almost took a star away because it was quite salty, but it was so good I wouldn't complain about it). My wife and daughter had the fish and chips and my daughter who only started liking fish devoured it and ate some of my wife's. Delicious lightly beaded, very fresh, well seasoned haddock and fantastic fries. Staff were friendly and attentive especially given how busy they were. Can't wait to come back and try more things, nice variety of good sounding food.

Great food with outstanding views The Dory offers fantastic food, service and oceanic views. We had such a great dinner at The Dory and the staff were exception. Bringing over heat lamps and blankets to make sure our many guests were comfortable, the service was second to none. The food was local, fresh and outstanding. Highly Recommended!

Loved it! The menu was good, something for everyone I think. The food and the service was so fast, we were in and out in 40 minutes. But we didn't feel rushed and the service wasn't leaving by any means. I'll definitely be going back.

Wife and I were reccomended the place from a local. We walked in, were promptly given a seat and cold waters. Then 45 mins have passed and we have drank our water, the waitress has sat and served others. Yet no recognition we were there. They had staff walking around asking how everyone was but we were ignored. Our waitress walked past us many times. It looked good, everyone was having a good time except us. We drove from new hampshire all the way to cape breton and it sucks to be treated lesser than others. In the end we had to leave after being ignored while others were not.

Very nice place with great food and fantastic service. Very busy, so you better reserve your table. It is nicer to eat outside if weather allows.
Very impressed! We were able to get a same day reservation. We sat on the patio which is pleasantly shaded. Ordered a sangria which was delicious. We decided to share the sampler platter, small salad and small chowder. Well, we had plenty of leftovers! Very tasty food, the dips were creative, plenty of helpful staff. The owner stopped by for a chat, all made for a memorable experience.
