OMG. There are places where you go to try stuff out that you’ve heard about and certain expectations are there. This was the case for Thom & Etts. Heard a lot of the fried chicken so I gave it a try and it did not disappoint. It might have been the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Definitely the best in Sydney. And the portions were massive. We never had donairs before (traveling from NY), but I can’t imagine that anyone can make them any better. They were delicious! The Jr. size was more than one meal for me. We also had a serving of the fried chicken. It was to die for! So much so, that we went back in and ordered more to take home for dinner!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

For those who remember the Greek Donair shop on Charlotte Street, then know that these are the family of the same man who returned home to continue the business.
