Don't bother.
Ordered the donair.works. Cold, sloppy. The tomatoes were so mushy I had more juice than donair. Pita thick and sloppy. Staff no emotion. Just avoid. I actually didn't bother bringing the donair back and threw it in the trash. 100% Garbage.

Not much too look at, a few bare bones tables. But you get some fresh and tasty take on Nova Scotia pizza which I had for the first time. The brownish sauce and the pepperoni (under the cheese) give it a unique taste.

Pictou County pizza available in Truro! Acropole is top notch. Not much of a dine in restaurant but for pickup and big slices of hot pizza this place is A+. Can’t go wrong with Acropole IMO.

Excellent donair sub and pizza!
Stopped by acropole for the first time, and to be honest; this should be the best pizza spot in Truro compared to the other spots I have tried locally.
They r not shy about smothering their pizza with cheese and sauce. And there is something special about their pepperoni too.
best food ever so happy you're here in Truro as I'm from PC
The donair pizza was excellent. The sauce was too sweet but its optional and on the side so i didn't hold thqt agajnst them. The dough wasn't like a standard chain it had a different texture kind of like a focaccaia but you could tell it was fresh. It would have been 5 stars if the pizza was charred. Controlled light charring would do wonders for the flavour profile.
