The service was excellent and there was a good selection of food. We ordered a few different pies to try, and found them overseasoned, especially compared to actual British pies. Obviously it's personal taste, but the seasoning overpowered the flavors of the other ingredients.
It seems to be very popular, so it would be good if they could improve the parking area.

Had my first visit on Monday, great food, great atmosphere and great service. Grabbed some pies to go and will be back! Do you sell those lies in the HRM? Yours are much better than the other company selling brisitsh products in the city.

Brilliant! Friendly people, fantastic food, and a lovely side patio for our puppy to join us. Sad I don't live nearby, I'd be there all the time! The breakfast was excellent and the meat pies were smothered in gravy. And the mash!!! Mmmmm delicious 🤤

Today, my partner and I proceeded to sit down and eat breakfast at our most cherished restaurant... The GREAT British Grub. I decided to take a chance on the Spinach & feta quiche... and let me tell you... what an incredible surprise! So... so delicious. I almost ate the plate!! But... that's not where it ends... the strawberry lemonade I'd also decided to take a chance on... hit me like the euphoria described by the Beatles in "Strawberry Fields Forever"... and I'm still not done! oh no! ...I THEN ordered the Pina Colada Cake... and did the bells from angels above ever start to chime... when the first piece hit my tongue... soft, light... like heaven... with a rich creamy icing, like nothing I have ever tasted before... chunks of my favorite fruit... pineapple... juicy and overall I am speechless, yet I was called by something deep within... perhaps the Cake Gods... to write this review so YOU may also delve into a similar experience which is nothing short of divine. The service is always wonderful, the environment comfortable and the food delightful. Best restaurant around. Thanks GBG - you never fail!
