Today, my partner and I proceeded to sit down and eat breakfast at our most cherished restaurant... The GREAT British Grub. I decided to take a chance on the Spinach & feta quiche... and let me tell you... what an incredible surprise! So... so delicious. I almost ate the plate!! But... that's not where it ends... the strawberry lemonade I'd also decided to take a chance on... hit me like the euphoria described by the Beatles in "Strawberry Fields Forever"......
I thought i was the only person from Lancashire in NS but I guess not. Great food, reminded me of pies from back home I even grabbed a couple of cheese and onion to take home.Highly recommend
I stop here every time I'm in Truro. The food is always good. I choose to sit outside because of the strong smell of cigarettes when I walk past the kitchen. I don't believe they smoke in the kitchen, but the smoke sticks to their clothes. The servers are always very friendly and try their best. I'll be back and I recommend this little gem.
