Discovered this quaint cafe/restaurant today and it's become my new favorite spot to hangout. It has a unique vibe with the owners handmade speakers playing beautiful instrumental music in the background. They also have a small collection of books to read while you sip on your drinks. We tried the beef stew and the Vietnamese milk coffee, and they were delicious. Service was great as well! Def recommend!

Lovus is absolutely delicious! Whenever I'm craving good Vietnamese food I come here. Everyone should stop by to try it out if they get the chance! They also have karaoke on Sundays and Monday sometimes!

This place is a hidden gem! It's not located near any busy streets or other restaurants, so it would be difficult to accidentally run into this restaurant while visiting Truro. However, those that do find here are in luck.
We ordered a bowl of pho, some spring rolls, and a taro macchiato. The bowl of pho was tasty and contained some meatballs and beef briskets. The broth was a salty style broth, rather than the sweet style. For some reason though, there weren't any bean sprouts served with the pho. Spring rolls were great. They weren't those cheap ones that you see with thick fried batter and some carrots and radishes. These spring rolls contained meat and other fillings, packed very densely.
Last but certainly not the least, the restaurant lives up to its namesake with their drinks. We tried the taro macchiato (non-caffeinated) and it was wonderful. It was not too sweet, but rather rich and flavourful.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite calming with the style of background music they played. For those who want to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in a quiet environment, this place would be perfect for you.
Parking: Not too busy of a street, so street parking was easy to find.
