We came to visit today from Moncton and I'm so glad we did! This was the first time my celiac daughter has been able to go to a restaurant and order anything off the menu that she wanted ❤️
Food was great, portions were huge and the staff working were super kind!

The food here is seasoned from decades of family love and it shows. I've never eaten anywhere that tastes exactly like Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's house.

Sunday, Sept 29th. The young chef and server were excellent. The chef should pursue culinary designations, if he has not already. The eggs, pan fries and toast were excellent and all perfectly done, just the way I requested them. The server was very polite, friendly and professional and knew all about the gluten-free options on the menu; everything is either gluten free or can be prepared that way. 5 stars all around.

We have just moved to Nova Scotia and had family here to help with move. Went to Mary & Larry’s for dinner all 5 of us enjoyed our meals they were excellent service was amazing and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be going back there.
Was on a trip from Ontario and looking for some good Diner food. Mary and Larry's is delicious and a must stop to try!!! Had the turkey club and fries, both were exactly what I was looking for. Real turkey (choice between Miracle Whip and real mayonnaise) and the turkey gravy for the fries really hit the spot (choice between beef and turkey gravy)...there is something about east coast fries...yummy. Definitely my go-to next time we are traveling through Truro area.

We stopped here on our way to catch a plane in Halifax and miscalculated how much time we had… this isn’t a fast food place, it’s a good food place where they make one order after another. They were super gracious to us after we had ordered and then later asked for our meals to go - they packed them up really nicely. I didn’t eat mine until getting to the airport and it was still warm and very tasty - I got a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and coleslaw. It was a popular place while we were there and I can see why. Definitely recommend!

If you're looking for really great food and reasonable prices then this is the spot? We had a hot hamburger platter and just burger patties and they were delicious ? It's not a huge place but they have a regular, older clientele from what I could see and that's always a great sign.??
