I have wanted to check our Noveltea for years, even before it had burned down.I went in a weekend away with my bestie and she brought me here. The cafe is in a beautiful old building with gorgeous arches and windows. They have a large menu which includes coffee and tea drinks, bubble tea and light food fare. They change up their drink menu for the seasons and base them off famous books. Right now it is the polar express. We ordered their vegan chocolate chip cookies and I got an oat milk coconut cherry latte. So good! Definitely recommend if you are in Truro.Vegetarian options: Vegan options

None of the tables were cleaned, food was okay but extremely overpriced, took forever to sort order and drink was very strange and unpleasant.

Very unique Coffee shoppe. Right in the heart of downtown Truro. The bakery is VERY good. As well as the atmosphere. Seems to be popular.Downside:Seating not muchLineupsHot drinks are priceyA for effort for having nice baked goods and interesting hot drinks in the menu . The hot apple cider was what I had and I might as well have had hot boiled sugar lol. I was expecting a little bit more liquid for what I paid for and didn't expect it to be in a small generic dollarama mug.We had two drinks and they were over $10. So be warned , it's not Tim Hortons.

Very cozy cafe, delicious food and a play area for kids. Awesome for gatherings and 10/10 bubble teas. A lot of seating. The only issue is the high prices. 9/10Kid-friendliness: A cute little play corner for the little ones. Books and other interactive toys available.

I had a great experience at NovelTea cafe today! The food and drinks were wonderful and the staff were so kind and sweet! It was very busy during my visit and it seemed the staff were very overworked! It seemed they could use an extra barista to help out... Wish the kind ladies well and will be back soon! Hope they figure out their staffing!
I waited 20 minutes for a latte and was very dissatisfied with the quality. The espresso tasted burnt, and there was an absence of latte art, which is something that really tops off a latte experience. Will not be back.

The BEST iced lattes I’ve ever had. My go to is a vanilla oat latte, it’s so yummy every time! Along with so many sweet treats and yummy sandwiches and samosas. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm and inviting. It’s a perfect small, hometown local business.
