Went for supper with my Mum a few weeks ago and we both had an amazing experience! Incredible flavour in the food, amazing atmosphere, great care by the staff to make sure we got exactly what we ordered and overall just the thing we were looking for on a night out!!

Found a small fly in the tacos salad bowl to go, which was really a taco bowl. The guacamole isn’t freshly made, commercial processed, and the chips are subpar.

Probably the best churros we had in our life! And we’ve had our fair share of Mexican desserts. Perfect harmony between cinnamon, sugar, pastry and topped with caramel, chocolate and, yes, whipped cream! 10/10
And the tacos are pretty authentic too. A pleasant surprise!

Claudio and his team catered our wedding this July, and we couldn’t be more impressed! Food was prepared on site and tasted so good. Our 85 guests were served in a timely manner, and we had nothing but raving reviews from everyone. This was an awesome experience, thank you for making an incredible supper for us! (The barbacoa was so good🔥🔥🔥🔥)

Not at all an authentic Mexican food, but ambience is good, the food is a pure cultural appropriation of Mexican food, it tasted more like a very hippy American fusion on creating Mexican food, we ordered burrito bowl, Burrito wrap and quesadillas all with chicken protein, chicken was in a pulled pork form actually tasted like dry towel and bowl had no rice it was just a lettuce salad with some beans and chicken (how is that a burrito bowl ?), we ordered Guacamole as a side and that was the only thing which made it somewhat push it down our throat, we didn’t even bother raising this issue with the staff as I am sure the crowd they are catering to may be different than us, if you are looking for an authentic Mexican food please avoid this place.

Truly mediocre inauthentic Mexican food, and we had to wait almost 30m for 2 quesadillas and a burrito, and didn't follow instructions for order. The quesadillas were flabby and I believe microwaved. Poor service, poor food, not worth any wait.

Ordered for an event, food was delivered on time, hot and fresh. Had chicken/pork/beef burritos that were all very good. Pasta salad was amazing and had plenty of salsa/guacamole/pico de Gallo to go with nacho chips. Would definitely order again!

Tacobros is a gem in Truro! Authentic Mexican food with amazing service. If you need catering for a corporate meeting, check them out. I just ordered build your own taco bowl and it was a huge hit! It’s a great option to appeal to a group as everyone can add what they like. There were plenty of options!

I want to be clear, the 4 stars is based upon the meal I received alone, not the entire establishment. I ordered a beef burger with pork also on it, I do forget the name of it but I was a bit underwhelmed by both the small size of it, and the flavor. I'm guessing I maybe got the wrong menu item, lol, maybe alot of other food is great here, but to be honest I'd have enjoyed a Macdonald burger alot more. It was devoid of flavour which is not what I was expecting. It's certainly not the Julios Barrio in Edmonton I was used to for Mexican food. But very nice staff. Bit dark in there though.
Edit - It wasn't a negative experience by any means I'd just like alot more flavour and larger burgers :) every other part of experience was great.

I had Taco Bros cater a work event mid December for 20 people. All I can say is wow! The food was delivered on time, it was hot or cold appropriately, and there was lots of it! I wanted something other than turkey or sandwiches and the tacos were a huge hit. I am a regular at the restaurant and this was the first time for catering, but it won't be my last. Thanks Claudio!
