Visited the restaurant in November 2024 . Had a bad experience in terms of food especially the naan .

amazing food, had the coconut chicken very flavorful and a good kick of spice to it, my husband had the beef vindaloo also great tasting, spicy which he loves. bigger portions so you could even take home leftovers. The Naan bread was so good and fresh, I ask for a second order. if you like chia tea you have to try the one here, it is worth it.

Authentic Keralan food...superb. we had shrimp curry and chicken mandala, Naan, rice. Everything cooked fresh ? favour's perfect...so many Atlantic maritime restaurants error on the side of bland. 7 months living in canada amd this is the first proper authtentic Indian cusine we've had.shsme we live 5 hours drive away. Lovely staff and understated decor. Don't be fooled by the simple layout inside.these guys know what they are doing

What can I say about this place other than reiterate what others have said - will not be returning- counter staff looked like he hated his job- nothing pleasant about my experience. Food 'to go' is a la carte - was not told that their $15 Chicken vindaloo did not include rice but found out after I got home. Skip this place and go to the Shala Thai - service and food- excellent!

The food was barely average. What surprised me the most was when asked about a certain dish, the server himself straight up told the food is bad and is not liked by customers. Well, this explains the “Hospitality” as the server was not even interested in inviting customers and act welcoming, which is paramount in the restaurant industry.

Excellent flavour and more than reasonable pricing. Would definitely eat there again.

I've had most of their items from the menu and I'm disappointed. The samosa chaat and mango lassi were good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. But the rest of the food was subpar at best. For the first time I've seen an indian restaurant without any type of Biriyani offered on the menu. The lack of items on the menu was laughable and that too from an Indian restaurant. The owner really needs to make changes or lose out to competition now that a new restaurant with lots of choices have opened up in truro heights. As a customer the food wasn't worth what I paid for. Change is good. Please do change.

We were looking forward to the experience but we're unable to gain entry...were blocked at the door by two scruffy men who had apparently broke the glass from the door.
