I will never go back to the nook and cranny and I’m being generous by giving this place 1 star. The service was absolutely terrible, when I go to an establishment I would like to feel welcome and we didn’t feel welcomed one bit. The waitress was not friendly at all never even asked us if we wanted anything to drink other than water. It took 10 mins for her to come back and actually take our order. I noticed that people who were ordering liquor got better and faster service, that doesn’t sit right with me. Everyone should be served with the same welcoming spirit regardless if they’re ordering just food. The food wasn’t hot when we got it, I got the garlic wine mussels and they were very disappointing to say the least. we both ordered steak and for the price they expect you to pay I could have made a better gourmet meal for cheaper than $30 at home. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere with good food to have a nice dinner at I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Tiny place, excellent menu. I had the fish cakes and beans and found the beans lacking in sauce but the dish was very well executed. Delicious. GF had the fish and garlic mashed and it was amazing. Will be back.

Wonderful meal! Everything was prepared fresh. Would love to go back, but we live in florida.
First place in Truro where i found "Old fashioned" cocktail. Fast service for 3 persons order: bison grilled steak was cooked as i asked, calamari rings and club sandwich, all delicious. 114 cad, taxes in, acceptable.

Food and atmosphere were good but the service was so terrible that I'll never come back. The staff spent most of their time sitting in the corner talking amongst themselves. We had to keep asking for drinks, etc.
