Food was good the one time I was able to dine on the patio. Inside is filled with grubby old car seats that are like sitting on the floor with the above your neck. Staff seemed irritated to have customers.

I visited this venue in May 2023. The food was ok and the atmosphere was nice.The service was awful though. I went with my mom and sister, and the server first gave us a backhanded compliment about our appearance. Then the service took so long. We watched people who arrived after us, receiving there meals before us. We waited well over an hour after placing the order (not from arrival) for our food to arrive. I was optimistic about this place as there aren't many places to dine in Truro. But, I will never go back again because the service was so bad.

I would give this place a 0 if I could horrible service. I have been here for the past hour and a half waiting for food…… still waiting…… we watched everyone else around us who arrived after us get there food while we were still waiting. She said we would be next and then continued to watch more people get there food, when it finally arrived it was plain bland and not worth the 2 hour wait. Do not waste your time here. I would reccomend anywhere else even McDonald’s has better service.

We started to become suspicious when people received their food and immediately asked for their bill. They came to fruition over the next hour and 10 minutes as we waited...and waited...and waited. When asked, the waitress said we were next, after which, 3 more orders came our for people there less time than we were. When it finally came, the food was mediocre. Not worth the wait. I won't be back.

Wow, I'm really surprised at the number of rave reviews here, especially people who mentioned that it's worth going out of the way for, and better than most places in Halifax (I have a few spots I could point you to, then).When we were there (tried it based on the positive Yelp reviews), the food was just average—and pricey!—for Truro. Maybe because there aren't a lot of options in Truro, that this is a 4+ star kind of place? In the late afternoon, there was one other table, and yet the service was nonchalant, if I'm being kind.I think my other minor complaint was the casual attitude of the server: Not in a rush to answer us and get our food in a prompt manner, and very unprofessional, lackadaisical attitude for the workplace.Definitely not going out of my way, or on my way, for this place.
