YOKA Japanese & Thai Restaurant

They called me to confirm my special delivery request, great service. I order from YOKA all the time. Very very good food and once they gave me a free order of scallops. Highly recommend.
Atmoshere is probably 5 stars but i only order delivery.

Decent quality food and a relaxed atmosphere. Quality at lunch time was a bit more middling on some rolls. Love the wait staff, quick and friendly.

Plain and simply terrible. I eat a lot of sashimi, and always usually enjoy a misou soup. It was like plain brownish water, and the sashimi was unlike anything I tasted before and totally not fresh. Try it. My word is not the gospel, you be the judge.

Coolest lil sushi joint! Great staff, great food!

Nothing beats the freedom and flexibility to order all you can eat sushi on demand! From first order to delivery to table, on demand service is fast and accurate. Portions are small so you don't over order and if you want more, you can simply order some! Food quality and portions were good. Price/value was very good. Definitely a go to when in town.

First of all I ordered 2 items for takeout. The tempura shrimp- the batter was completely white and a soft mess of batter. As this is one of my favorite things, it was a 1 star at most. Second, the chicken Udon Noodles were great! My only complaint was it was basically chicken and noodles with one vegetable and even that was hard to find! So yes, I can highly recommend the Fried Chicken Udon Noodles now that I know what what to expect. Simple but very good!

Had a really great meal at YOKA this evening. Some of the freshest and best tasting sashimi I've had all year. I often enjoy AYCE sushi as part of my travels, YOKA ranks right up there. Staff were amazing, attentive and super friendly. Highly recommend, I hope I can get there again before I leave Truro!

Ate there for the first time a few days ago. I don’t like sushi but there were many other options for me. The udon noodles were the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was great and loved the coziness of the restaurant.

The food here is so good! We were worried when we moved from Toronto that we wouldn’t have AYCE sushi. Then we found this gem ❤️ Lovely staff, standard pricing and delicious!

We got to the restaurant early as we were going to a movie after. There were a lot of empty seats, and we were greeted right away. The touch system was explained, and our order went in, and food and drinks came shortly after. (With help from our kids). Had a delicious meal at this restaurant. I think a little face-lift wouldn't hurt, though. As for prices, all of us did think it was a bit high for a all you can eat dinner.
